What challenge were you trying to address with ZIMA Marketing?

ZIMA Marketing was initially tasked with generating leads for our company.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

ZIMA Marketing provided us with digital marketing, which included developing ad campaigns, lead acquisition, AdSense implementation, and web development. Unfortunately, they failed to deliver verified leads which resulted in us having no scheduled appointments. 

They also failed to animate the landing page and structure the website seamlessly as per our requirements, so we ended up with a lackluster and awful website.

What is the team composition?

My initial conversation was with Jared (VP of Business Development), but we also communicated with Ben (Managing Partner) and Brennan (Co-Founder & Managing Partner).

ZIMA Marketing reached out to me to offer their services.

How much have you invested with them?

I believe we spent around $2,400.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October–December 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We ended up spending four times more with ZIMA Marketing than with any other company, but we have nothing to show for it. While they did offer to push more leads and bring the scheduling and questionnaires on the front page, they still couldn’t deliver.

ZIMA Marketing put us in a direction that wasn’t conducive to a working relationship.

How did ZIMA Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

The project management was handled poorly, and they essentially robbed me of my time and resources. The back- and frontend aspects were a letdown, so we didn’t get the quality we were looking for.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I can say that their weekly follow-ups were their main strength.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve on their business relations, because they were unprofessional, immature, and they lacked the emotional intelligence to have a conversation.

They could also improve on setting up correct expectations, make improvements in their lead acquisition process, and anger management.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise them to invest their money in learning how to do the job by themselves, because that’s exactly what we ended up doing after cutting ties with ZIMA Marketing. We garnered a better ROI, gained twice the experience, and achieved better results.
