I’m the president, CEO, and founder of Prime Performance Services, LLC. We’re a boutique management consulting company. Our services include strategic planning, operational improvements, and filling in as presidents or CEOs.

What challenge were you trying to address with Zendavesta?

I wanted to become well-known in the consulting world, and I needed a website. I’d had an opportunity with a firm out of New York for a big project, and they’d asked for my website address. I didn’t have a website at the time, so I reached out to Zendavesta.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zendavesta developed my website from scratch. I wanted to get an initial website in place and then make ongoing updates and changes. 

They helped me with the website design and concept, including colors, font, and navigation. They also educated me on website development throughout this project. We initially talked about setting up my site with analytics tracking, and I asked them to wait. I’m going to ask for some additional updates and have them set up those analytics services soon.

What is the team composition?

Luis (Marketing Consultant) was my main contact. I also worked with a developer, a person who wrote the site’s overall narrative, and some other teammates.

How did you come to work with Zendavesta?

I knew Luis for several years — I met him through my daughter. I reached out to him because I wanted to work with an individual, not a big corporation. I wanted someone to be personable with me.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve invested about $10,000 with Zendavesta.

What is the status of this engagement?

I began working with Zendavesta in September 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I received an offer to be on a board of directors, and the company was impressed with what was on my website. I’ve had several people approach me about doing business, saying that they’ve seen my website.

People have liked the website, they’ve been impressed with it, and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments about it. The site is exactly what I was hoping it would be: a simple website that gets the message across.

How did Zendavesta perform from a project management standpoint?

Zendavesta really impressed me with their project management. They did a really, really nice job with this project from the very beginning to the finished product, and they provided very personable service throughout. We discussed everything up front, and there have been no delays, no confusing communication, and no surprise costs. 

They’re very responsive via text and phone, even calling me as late as 9 p.m. during initial development. Some of this was during the COVID-19 pandemic, and I could hear people with kids in the background. A lot of people made a concerted effort to make initial development as smooth as possible, especially given the circumstances. They were on top of my needs, and they were working late to get this site up and running on time.

They’ve communicated well in lay terms — they’ve done a nice job starting from the basics and introducing me to web development and design. They’ve been good hands-on individuals to work with, and they’ve taken the time to explain their process. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their quality of support and creativity have been especially impressive throughout this project. They really know what they’re doing, and it’s been a great experience. They’ve proposed all kinds of good ideas during the development process.

Are there any areas they could improve?

This is not something that I would even consider a negative, but I’ve sometimes wished that we could’ve gotten some things done a little bit faster, even though their service was really good. They had a lot of projects going on at the time, and I knew that up front. Again, it’s not a negative, but faster is always better.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I highly recommend talking to Zendavesta. I think they’re going to provide you with good service and creativity, and their pricing seems to be in line. They handle everything from grassroots projects like mine to bigger projects, and they’re just a pleasure to work with.

I wanted to get my company known better in the market. A few years ago, I was on a call with a client, interviewing for a very big project. One of the questions they asked me was which was my website’s address because they wanted to know more about my company. I didn’t have a website at the time, and I felt disapproved by the client, so I decided to hire Zendavesta to build me a website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zendavesta helped me design and develop my website from scratch. Since I was new to web development, I talked with them and requested a startup website. Additionally, I talked with Luis (Marketing Consultant) and requested him some consultancy throughout the process. I wanted to understand what made websites attractive and engaging.

During this process, Zendavesta designers helped me design the whole image for my site, defining the colors and fonts, and educating me about the process. Then, they took me into website development, working proactively and slow enough for me to follow up.

Ultimately, they delivered a very simple website, just like I requested. Over time, they’ve also helped me make changes to the site, and soon, I’m going to request an update.

Luis has been my main point of contact, but other people have also worked on the project. Their team includes a developer and a copywriter.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Zendavesta has done a great job from beginning to end developing my website, and they’ve delivered a quality product. The website gets our message across very simply, and it has received a lot of positive feedback.

Additionally, people have approached me after seeing my website, and I’ve even been offered to join the board of directors for one of those companies. People are very impressed with what they see there.

Although we talked about a data tracking feature from the beginning, I initially didn’t want to implement it, so I don’t have any statistics to share. However, that is one of the features I’ll request for the upcoming update.

How did Zendavesta perform from a project management standpoint?

Zendavesta has been always on top of things, and their project management is impressive. They offer a very personable service, and they make projects run smoothly. Additionally, I can always send them a text message or call them, and they’re very responsive.

During development, we never faced any delays or surprise costs because everything was discussed upfront. Sometimes, I got calls at 9 p.m. when the team was trying to get something done. It was great to see them working late at night to help me get my site up and running by the deadline.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Zendavesta’s support and creativity are impressive. They proposed very good ideas during development, which made me feel that they knew what they were doing. Overall, working with them has been a great experience.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything Zendavesta could improve on; it all has gone pretty smoothly. On occasions, I’ve felt that they could do certain things faster. However, every client wants things to get done faster.
