I am Senior Product Manager at Coconut, based in London, UK.

For what projects/services did your company hire Zealtouch LLC, and what were your goals?

We wanted to ensure that our Android application was kept at parity with our iOS application and ensure that the platform (and its dependencies) were always up to date. We need someone who could work collaboratively with other members of our team and attend development ceremonies to discuss upcoming product requirements regularly and deliver on a consistent schedule.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We shortlisted a number of developers on Upwork and discovered Muhammad. After a quick chat and dummy project, it quickly became apparent he was perfect for the role. He had excellent communication, knowledge, and quick response time.

Muhammad integrated himself into our companies development ceremonies and schedules. This included daily stand-ups, design and ticket refinement/review. These were then assigned to agreed releases and scheduled accordingly. Regular check-ins with the team were used to resolve any potential issues and unblock delivery.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Muhammad was assigned to us as our lead and sole Android developer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Within the first few months of having Muhammad onboard, Android achieved parity with our iOS application, which previously was several features behind. Muhammad also ensured that we were compliant with Playstore releases by keeping our platform/dependencies up to date. As a result, we've seen consistent and increasing activity in our Android application.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Muhammad had excellent communication skills throughout his time working with Coconut. We predominantly communicated via slack, but he also attended development ceremonies to discuss tickets and to further refine requirements. Communication was also easy via Jira and Linear where clarification may have been required by our QA or Product team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Muhammad's ability to pick up mid-flight projects, correct and deliver in a short time span was fantastic. Any blockers were communicated and his work schedule was flexible to accomodate our changing needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None, would happily work with Muhammad again in the future!

We wanted to develop two apps that integrates our locations and customers together to create valuable experiences and community.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched for app developers and decided on the one that had the most experience that matched closely to our apps requirements.

We had a series of weekly meetings where we discussed the initial design and functionality of the apps, and thereafter was the execution of the apps and testing until it was released on the Apple Store and Google Play.

Our main point of contact is the project manager who was very well organized in reaching our weekly goals.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

As we are a startup, we released an MVP version of our apps which far exceeded our expectations. The team offered helpful suggestions to make our apps even more efficient than we had initially planned.

The project manager was very easy to communicate with and very organized in the process of execution in a very smooth and efficient management style, while also very open to last minute changes that were necessary after testing and feedback.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We have a very unique business model, and the quick understanding of the details from design to execution of the apps blew us away. We are still very impressed, as well as our target market, of the apps we created together. In the end these apps are visually stunning and easy for our customers to use.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In the process of creating these very unique apps, we learned a lot along the way and look forward to working togther on the next phase after funding.
