I'm a Vienna-based lawyer and I work independently.

What challenge were you trying to address with Yavorska?

I hired Yavorska to take professional pictures for my website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

For our most recent project, she took my pictures and then retouched them. Our first engagement was a video project. We have also done other one-off projects, but we don’t have anything fixed.

What is the team composition?

I only worked with Oksana (Owner).

How did you come to work with Yavorska?

I knew Oksana through a friend. I didn’t look at any other companies as I only work with people I know.

What is the status of this engagement?

The first time we worked was in November 2019, and we finished our latest project in February 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I was very content with Yavorska’s work. When we first worked together on the video project, it was difficult because I didn't know her yet. We went back-and-forth and revised the work 6–7 times,  as I always had something I wanted to change. I wasn't really sure what I wanted. 

Despite that, she always accommodated me and implemented my edits immediately. Whenever I had something to change, she explained to me what she could do and was very patient. I was really impressed with her patience and professionalism.

How did Yavorska perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated mostly via email, but sometimes we called each other. She uploaded the files to a cloud platform, from which I could download the files.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Like other photographers, she was very simple and easy to work with. She worked quickly and didn’t make life unnecessarily complicated.

Are there any areas they could improve?

She needs to improve her self-esteem, and she could do that by gaining experience — this comes naturally with time.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The only advice I could give people is to hire her. She's perfectly suited for photography and video editing jobs.

I’m the CEO and one of the co-founders of ToolSense. We help machine manufacturers and distributors grow their aftermarket business with a software solution.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with OK-Production?

We hired OK-Production for two projects. We wanted to recruit some developers and create corporate videos.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

OK-Production provided recruitment photos and created a couple of corporate videos. They produced one hiring video during which the team introduced themselves while in the office. The other video involved a couple of customers and partners at a trade fair. We created the scripts together and their team had extremely good ideas for how the content should be done. The photos were posted on our website and social media channels. We’re still working with OK-Production on various other projects.

What is the team composition?

We've worked with Oksana (Video Producer, OK-Production).

How did you come to work with OK-Production?

We got acquainted over a mutual contact.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $10,000–$50,000 on the projects.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together either late in 2018 or early in 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve gotten really good feedback on the quality of the videos. We’ve also had customers who asked for Oksana’s contact details to work with her.

How did OK-Production perform from a project management standpoint?

OK-Production performed really well. We either communicated by phone and email or met in person. Oksana was responsive to feedback and self-organized.  Basically, she directed the projects on her own including the internal communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

OK-Production’s hands-on. Oksana’s pragmatic and focuses on what’s really important.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not really.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

As with any media provider, think about what you want and don’t want to do. Then, set up the engagement accordingly.
