We're making progress. It's not as fast as I wanted, but they're doing a good job.

They're great at communicating what's happening.

I appreciate their good communication.

They should conduct better tests before releasing an update.

We had experience with them before for smaller, custom WordPress coding solutions.

They were instrumental in fulfilling all coding requirements. The platform involves many functionalities that have never been combined into one seamless e-commerce website.

What was the team composition?

We have a fantastic relationship with our project manager. We work with him on a daily basis and he communicates our needs and feedback to a small team of dedicated, excellent developers. Specifically, Sukhmander (Project Manager, Xicom Technologies) is amazing.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We're more efficient than ever and able to offer more customized solutions to our clients than ever before, thanks to Xicom.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We deal with one person as the project manager. He's fantastic and 100% effective at communicating our needs to his development team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

There were so many impressive things. We've dealt with many offshore development firms and have dealt with so many issues from language barriers to work that is very poor. With Xicom, while their English is not 100%, they understand what we are trying to communicate. If our project manager doesn't understand, he asks for clarification instead of going ahead with information that may not be correct. It ensures everything is done correctly the first time. That's so important for an ongoing relationship with a development company.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

No. Xicom and Sukhmander are amazing.

The outcome has been positive. Our existing clients love the website, and we get more exposure in the current market.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided frequent updates. We connected over the phone and via Skype at least once a week.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was quite impressed by their knowledge of optimization and UX and web design.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They could improve their sales team. We weren’t quite happy with the sales executive who approached us.
