Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the senior manager of digital products for a global commercial real estate company. We provide brokerage services, as well as investment, portfolio management, and building management. I manage the software development for global applications that are both internal and external facing.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with XCentium?

Our challenge was specifically to get our client-facing portal functionality up and running on our website, so we can do additional businesses with clients online.

What was the scope of their involvement?

XCentrium provided us with Sitecore and .NET development.

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact was Aaron (Director). He was the person I closely worked with on this project and he was in charge of their team.

How did you come to work with XCentium?

We found them specifically through Sitecore, as they were a Sitecore partner.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from February–October 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

XCentrium was able to deliver the project on time and get it released. They provided us with high-quality people throughout the project, and we liked their forward-thinking methodologies both from a development and process perspective.

How did XCentium perform from a project management standpoint?

We typically communicated through Azure DevOps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed by the quality of people they have on their team.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

What made the partnership successful for me, was working closely with people through the whole process, and bringing them in as a team as opposed to being a separate entity. We were all as one team, working towards the same goal. That’s my advice for any type of engagement like this.
