OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with WON Marketing?

Anytime you’re starting a company from scratch, you need to build a viable, solid website. When we were starting up, I had a lot of different responsibilities, so I needed a resource that I could give autonomy. I wanted someone I trusted and who would help me manage the project. 

We needed to create a website that catered to an end consumer, as well as trainers. So, we took a two-fold approach to our audience. We had an existing website but it wasn’t what it needed to be.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We told them that we needed to be attractive to trainers and companies looking for solutions to develop their leaders as well. WON Marketing then designed and developed a website that presented our product and its depth of features. 

The team collaborated with another partner of ours to developed the tone of the website, as well as the code. They set up certain calls to action (CTA) to make sure that our website was focused on lead generation.

What is the team composition?

I had one point of contact. He had a team of designers as well as a developer who built a prototype.

How did you come to work with WON Marketing?

I worked with one of their teammates, so I already knew his background and approach to design. When this opportunity came up, he was one of my first choices.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $10,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in Q2 2016, and the project lasted 4–5 months. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website was very well done, so I was happy with the result. The team did a good job of making sure it was functional from a QA perspective. The quality was excellent, and WON Marketing was one of the best resources I’ve worked with. They were able to build out a full-scale website in no time.

How did WON Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They managed the project for me. The team scheduled touchpoints and kept me accountable. I can trust them not only from a design approach but also in terms of making sure that we’re technically sound from a product standpoint.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They had strong attention to detail and a thorough technical background. They also understood all the basics of UX and delivered a beautiful product. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I have no suggestions. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would recommend making sure you have a thorough plan and understand your timing and budget.
