• The first phase was delivered on time in less than 6 weeks
• Quality of deployment was high, thus amount of efforts they spend now for monthly support is only a few hours per month
• Real time monitoring system gives us valuable insights about our operations (apart from alerts)

Can't think of any particular area for improvement. Obviously I'd prefer the price was lower.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire WiseOps to accomplish?

• Optimize expenses at the start of new projects.
• Conduct an audit of the third-party CMD KVS and enable the ability of its horizontal scaling.
• The bulk of the infrastructure was hosted on bare-metal servers. Kernel Video Sharing was used as the core of the architecture, providing storage, moderation, and distribution of video content. The main issue was that the service had a monolithic architecture and vertical scaling of nodes. This led to significant overexpenditure at the start of new projects and the inability to dynamically adjust and scale capabilities.

Their team managed to find a way to divide and automate the deployment of the service on several independent virtual machines:

Frontend (Nginx + KVS + specific client-side PHP / NodeJS code)
Administration module based on KVS + Memcached & Redis (video moderation, conversion, and other tasks)
MariaDB database
Sphinxsearch based search engine
Ansible was used to configure OS / Nginx / PHP-FPM / KVS / Memcached / Redis / Sphinx / MariaDB. 

Terraform - to configure Cloudflare.

Gitlab + Gitlab CI were used to deploy code changes.

• Reliable infrastructure was built for our development team.
• Timely project delivery within budget (deployment took approximately 1 month)
• Positive ongoing communication and updates.
• Solution documentation for internal team

Since we began working with WiseOps, everything has proceeded exactly as promised and expected. The process of communication and setting goals has been smooth and effortless. I would also like to personally add that all the WiseOps engineers we worked with were not only extremely professional but also very pleasant and easy to collaborate with.

Team’s deep expertise in Infrastructure as a Code (Ansible, Terraform). Ability to create unique DevOps solutions tailored to our specific needs. For example, they configured KVS in a non-standard way dividing the load across several nodes - this approach enabled horizontal scaling of our infrastructure globally, and particularly of Sphinx/MariaDB.
