The WebOsmotics team helped develop a smart game that uses biosensor data as inputs to drive game play. They created the game interface and worked dilliegently with us to fine tune the game play to optimize utility for the patients and users. The app communicates with a biosensor via bluetooth and distributes relevant data to concerned parties.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We sought to have an MVP game app that could be tested with patients. WebOsmotics worked closely with us until the parameters were just right. The largest, and best, measurable outcome is that the game is now being tested in clinics.

We were extremely satisfied and happy with WebOsmotics performance. They were very responsive to our concerns and usually responded within 24 hours. They also worked closely with us to make sure that the mobile app met our exacting needs and provided changes with 48-72 hours where possible. This feature was extremely important as we always felt that we were updated and clearly informed.

We were impressed by the team's technical skills and their ability to execute quickly. Local software that runs on our Smart Lockers. This includes middleware that communicates with all the peripherals on the locker (including the locks and the sensors in each slot) and the application that provides the user interface and the connection back to the cloud software. 

The cloud software that monitors the lockers, records all transactions, provides all administrative functions and supports the messaging platform (e-mail and text) and the open API that is used to connect to 3rd party systems.

Software that is working according to specification and is stable in a full production roll-out of lockers (with a minimum of software bugs).

Always very responsive - will go over and above what is asked and will put in the extra effort to meet deadline. They are very attentive to the timelines set by the team.

To not always take the requirements at face value. Question what is being asked and suggest ways (where applicable) where a different approach may be more efficient or work better for the user of the software or for the system's functioning. 

Within the code document sufficiently so that another software developer can quickly understand what the software is doing (what function it is performing, how it interacts with other parts of the system and how it was implemented).
