We needed a solution that would ensure high performance and fast loading times regardless of location. At the same time, we wanted to maintain the content management system by WordPress.

Webo team proposed creating a website using headless architecture. They presented the benefits, capabilities, limitations, and cost estimates of the project. This approach involves decoupling the user interface layer from the content management system (WordPress), which are then connected via an API. Thanks to the statically generated frontend layer, the new website would offer high performance and security.

Initially, we did not plan to change the website’s visual design—our priority was improving performance and speed. Therefore, the project went straight into the development phase without involving a design team.

The Webo team maintained constant communication, updating us on project status and any challenges during implementation. One of the more complex aspects of the project was optimizing the generation of a large number of news articles —an issue that required a tailored approach and deep understanding of system architecture. Webo handled it effectively, delivering a stable and scalable solution. The entire process took 6 months and was transparent and well-organized.

According to analytics data, the average page load time dropped below 1 second (weekly averages even show <0.5s). Performance issues have disappeared. After publication, we continued our collaboration with Webo, enhancing the site both visually and functionally. The team actively supported us with interface, UX, and further technical development suggestions—including regular updates of WordPress, plugins, and the Nuxt framework. Together, we developed new subpages, refreshed the homepage and selected sections, implemented new features like a content library, and carried out SEO optimization.

The project was well-managed from the start. We received an implementation timeline at the very beginning, and the Project Manager regularly kept us informed about the progress. Although some delays occurred, we were consistently updated on the reasons and any potential timeline shifts.
