I am the CEO and founder..Eagle View started as a Consultancy delivering advice to large organisations on how to make best use of Mobile & Digital. Running now over 10 years although we support multiple companies digital journeys, over recent years we have specialised in Digital Events , Cyber Security

For what projects/services did your company hire WebEquator?

Increasingly we were asked to deliver on our recommendations and so needed a partner company to support our digital expansion We especially needed expert software development support to build a number of projects including website and app design & build – with a focus on customer journey and big data integration.

What were your goals for this project?

We had a number of projects running concurrently, but all with a theme of taking multiple data sources from internal & 3rd parties and integrating into the platforms that could be used by both external and internal customers

How did you select this vendor?

I had known the Owner for many years, and so they were a natural choice to turn to. We had also worked with them previously on highly successful projects.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

We worked with WebEquator on multiple projects but probably the two largest web based projects involved integration of multiple data sets to a cyber security platform and secondly an operational events platform. In relation to the first we had to use big data skills including elastic search to mine and display literally millions of records being generated per second.

For the events industry we created a service which allowed organisations who were hosting events to view in real-time multiple data sets such as meeting is being held, people arriving at the event and even behavioural data.

In relation to app building, the most significant project we worked with WebEquator on was again in the events business and was a combined iPad app and web-based CMS which allowed us to upload and manage VIPs and speakers on sit. Functionality ranged from being able check speakers in to manage their agendas, logistics and even find them on site.

What was the team composition?

Team of around 10, which include Technical Director, Project Manager, Technical Architect, Developers & Designers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The services we built with WebEquator enabled us to create entire new product lines and service deliverables which subsequently enabled us to build new parts of the business

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Communication was very good and mainly directed through their custom-built ticketing system. But we also had regular meetings and collaboration sessions via email, the phone, Skype Slack …very flexible.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They had great attention to detail. When we asked a question, they were able to explain everything and highlight the impact in both time and cost. Quickly, they became less of a supplier and more of a partner.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Since they were involved from the very beginning, they understood all of our goals, which is so important in software development. Future clients should involve the team from the very start of the project.

I’ve hired WEBEQUATOR to fix issues on the Android APP I developed and they are helping me to get the APP released onto the Google Play.

I was struggling with the issues on Gaming APP for Android.

Describe the project in detail.

WebEquator reviewed the APP that I developed in detail and fixed the bugs. The APP is now working and ready to go live.

What was the team composition?

1 Developer from WebEquator side and myself as a Project Manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The bugs were stopping this project going live and now it’s all good to get released.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The agile manner with daily/weekly calls.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I worked with WEBEQUATOR for the first time, they provide a very robust development process. I really recommend them.
