We're a collectibles business that was looking to have a full fledged marketplace created for us that included: 

• basic buying functions 
• users being able to apply for selling functions 
• a shipping solution integration 
• a new sales auction method to be implemented into buying/selling 
• complete design of the website/backend 
• messaging functions

• Completion of all initial deliverables of the project

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Items were delivered in a timely manner - we often had instances where we decided to change something well into work of a specific task and the Web Chefs were very accommodating trying to fit things into their schedule. When it came to communication, we had direct contacts assigned to us and although we typically operated in different time zones, that was never an issue as the Web Chefs made sure that communication never felt delayed. 

Whenever we had any questions/requests/needs, the Web Chefs contact assigned to us would quickly put that into a queue and it would get dealt with in a timely manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

My partner and I went into this experience with very little knowledge or background on web development. Having interviewed many companies, most were very willing a specific team that would focus exactly on what we said we needed and deliver that exactly. The sense and ultimate result we got with Kamil and Web Chefs is that they took on the project as something they were completely invested in. 

Throughout the process, we received little recommendations and suggestions from the Web Chefs team here and there that we ended up going with in the final product. If those weren't made, I don't think we would have had as good of a product as we do now. 

When it comes to the design/UI/UX aspect of this project, my partner and I would constantly be blown away with what the Web Chefs would deliver. We would set an objective and a very rough design of what we were hoping to receive, and each time we were surprised with how intuitive their designs felt to us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Webchefs Software Company could have done differently?

The Web Chefs are extremely kind, but they are experts in their area and I think they should make that more known. Although I believe we developed a great working relationship, it took some time for them to more aggressively suggest specific things/ways to do things that ended up being beneficial to us. As a result, I think they should push their recommendations harder from the onset and I'm sure we/future clients will be pleased.

We had a number of Warehouse and Delivery partners supporting our operations with variable degrees of automation. We wanted to standardise the format of our reporting and tracking, with tools to use with our own drivers too and WebChefs helped deliver and help with ongoing maintainance too.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Ability to make redundant legacy systems requiring daily manual touch points in our operations, to more automated tracking and reporting on all movements of the managed with our logistics business. This also lets us do more with suppliers and upsell our operations to scale faster with the same service level qualities as before.

The project management was exemplary. The team helped with making sure that decisions we wanted to make were well understood prior to us making particular choices in the roadmap. This feedback was critical as they were thinking more of business decisions we well we what is efficient in the tech development too. It was this relationship and setting execution milestones that helped us run our business as well as we could while we continually improved on oursystem front.

The ability to think about the business impact on decisions being made with the technology roadmap. This willingness to understand the business made it a much more sustainable longer term relationship.

Been a very dynamic relationship where as it has matured, both sides have continued to grow.

We needed help migrating a complex website from one hosting platform to another and streamlining the system to make it lightweight and stable.

Webchefs Software Company has helped us migrate a complex website from one hosting platform to another and streamline the system to make it lightweight and stable. The team has also introduced Cloudflare for more stability and fast load speeds. Moreover, Webchefs Software Company has since set up Google Analytics tracking on an unfamiliar CMS (to us) and a booking platform (which is typically not trackable). The team has added site monitoring to all sites we have partnered on to ensure efficient outage detection and global caching setup.
