The Weather Film did a lot of different things for us related to video production. Initially, we had a briefing call with The Weather Film  to give them some context about our new product so that they understood what we were trying to achieve and what we wanted to include in the final creative material.

This was a very new brand, even for us, so we were all figuring it out. Therefore, we didn’t have much to work from other than the fact that we wanted to make the video exciting, new, and fresh. Still, The Weather Film worked alongside us to create great work.

After providing The Weather Film with as much information as possible about our new product, they started to work on the concept phase. They regrouped on their end to put together a comprehensive deck with a lot of ideas.

If there’s one area they could strengthen, it would be providing an early visual prototype or scene board during pre-production. While their final vision was outstanding, seeing some visual direction sooner might have helped align expectations even earlier in the process. That said, they were very responsive to feedback and adjusted quickly once we got into post-production.

All nine instructional videos were completed on time, which was critical because we wanted to launch the series prior to the start of caddie training season in the spring. The series was distributed to our partners at country clubs across the country, who were excited to have a new tool at their disposal as they train new caddies and provide continuing education to experienced caddies.

I've been impressed by how nimble and reasonable the team has been. LocalEyes has good contacts with quality videographers in so many different markets. Whenever we've needed to do a shoot outside of our home base of Chicago, they've been able to assemble a great team to help.

This is not an area for improvement, but I think it helped that we are comfortable working with people via video chat, email and text. If you are not as comfortable, you'll have to find a way to work around having people in different locations. This arrangement worked great for us, though.
