I’m the co-founder of Doors of Steel, a construction company that designs and manufactures steel and glass doors and partitions.

What challenge were you trying to address with WE-DEV?

We needed to increase the number of genuine customer inquiries, modernize our website, and strengthen our brand. We also wanted to improve our website speed and mobile performance, develop a more effective online quotation system, improve conversion rates from Google Ads, and improve the customer journey and website usability. Additionally, we wanted to strengthen our long-term search visibility, including AI search.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

WE-DEV has been helping us with a comprehensive refresh of our website, including modernizing the design, improving the layout and navigation, enhancing product pages and imagery, and optimizing website speed and mobile performance. Key deliverables include developing a new interactive online quotation configurator, improving the customer inquiry process, integrating quotation submissions and conversion tracking with HubSpot and Google Ads, improving calls to action and the overall UX, and ensuring the website is structured to support long-term search visibility, including AI search. The project also includes maintaining existing content and URLs where appropriate to protect established search visibility.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The key outcomes of our engagement with WE-DEV have been improvements in website speed, mobile performance, and overall usability, alongside a more streamlined quotation process. The redesigned website has provided a better customer experience, clearer navigation, and a more professional presentation of our products. The new quotation configurator has also made it easier for customers to submit detailed inquiries, while improved conversion tracking has given us better visibility into website performance and lead generation.From our perspective, the website feels much more modern, professional, and easier to navigate. The overall design better reflects our brand and the quality of our products. We’re particularly pleased with the improved customer journey and the quotation configurator, which has made the inquiry process more straightforward and intuitive. These have been important indicators that the project has achieved what we set out to accomplish.
