We searched online for new candidates. After that, we chose We Are OSM based on their skills, past experience, and mindset.

In the meeting, we want to see what the client actually wants. After that, we deliver wireframes and mock-ups. Once the client is happy, we deliver the site in order to reflect the company's personality and its goals.

We have a developer, designer, copywriter, and marketing specialist. They work together to get the best results.

After launching a site, we saw that the number of visitors that became clients increased by 48%.

Communication is the key. We usually used Slack, Miro, Figma, and notion. However, if there are any special requirements, it is simple to switch tools.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They gave us a site that was really good in terms of conversions and had all the analytics for our marketing team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

When they first launched the site, there were some little issues, but they were immediately fixed.

I'm the founder of a business consulting firm, and we’re located in Belgrade, Serbia.

What challenge were you trying to address with We Are OSM?

We sought the services of We Are OSM to help with the backend development of our company website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Essentially, I needed We Are OSM to do the backend development of a basic website — I had a graphic designer who designed the frontend. Their main job was to develop and deploy my website, which featured basic information about me and my advisory business. I did not request any major, exciting features, but I wanted it to have a nice-looking and mobile-friendly design. Their team also did SEO optimization for my site.

What is the team composition?

I work with several people from their team, but my main point of contact is the account manager. I’ve had interactions with different developers as well.

How did you come to work with We Are OSM?

We already knew each other before our engagement began; one of their owners used to work for me as my IT person. I also decided to give them a try because they had the expertise that we were looking for.

How much have you invested with them?

We have spent about €5,000 (approximately $5,500 USD) on the project so far.

What is the status of the engagement?

Our partnership began in September 2020, and we are still collaborating with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I don't have any anecdotal feedback on their work. I've failed to maximize on the site, as I did not do any sort of blog or major social media activity because I wasn't sure of what I was doing. I'm more responsible for that than they are.

How did We Are OSM perform from a project management standpoint?

Their performance has been good, and I like how they always ask for an upfront description. I'm very happy with their account manager who’s very effective, transparent, fast, and reliable — she solves problems for me.

I also like the fact that they provide us with written reports since not all of us speak English. It's a good way of making sure that all instructions are clear. Our main mode of communication is via email; they write up the reports of the meeting and send them by email. In terms of budget, their pricing is quite expensive in the local market scene, but internationally, they provide great value for money.

What did you find most impressive about them?

For me, it's the fact that they don’t waste any of my time because I don’t have time to waste. They really understand what I'm trying to achieve with my business, and they're very supportive and excited about my projects. They’re also sharp, polite, and respectful.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should focus more on software development because Serbia is now a very popular place for outsourcing software development projects. I think they're very capable of doing this. 

Any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to have a meeting with them to discuss your business, so that they can understand what you're trying to achieve. Sometimes it takes a little bit more time, but if they get that right in the beginning, they will not waste your time.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the managing partner of a law firm from Belgrade. We also operate in Serbia and other ex-Yugoslavian countries. We have six lawyers and mainly work in corporate law with foreign legal entities, helping them with litigation enforcement, arbitration, and everything law-related.

We don’t deal with criminal law, just civil law. We formed the company 11 years ago and are growing every year, so we’re doing well.

What challenge were you trying to address with We Are OSM?

We’ve been investing in our website because we realize its importance, especially when dealing with foreign legal entities that learn about us through the site. It’s our company ID, so we’re doing our best to make it user-friendly.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We Are OSM is developing our WordPress website from scratch and providing hosting services. They cover all aspects of IT, which is important for us. We use the website to post news and let clients know about our team and values.  

Our current website is law-firm.rs, but we also have a .com and other domains. We plan to build new websites for IP and other fields of law. For now, the goal is to make this site perfect, and we’ll move forward from there.

What is the team composition?

We have one main contact; they pass our requirements to the developers.

How did you come to work with We Are OSM?

My office is close by, and I’d heard that they provided IT services. We engaged them once our budget permitted it. Previously, we’d worked with just one IT person, but our demands were starting to grow, so we wanted to do things swiftly. She couldn’t do that, so we moved one step up.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, the total is up to $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with We Are OSM around a year ago, in January 2021. Our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Clients seeing our website for the first time are pretty satisfied. They like it, and we think it’s an upgrade to our previous site. Their development work isn’t related to SEO, but our clients and we are satisfied with the site. We just need to amend the team photos, but that’s our burden.

How did We Are OSM perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re definitely timely, and we can't criticize them on their capacity, given the market in Serbia. If we have a picture or a post to address, they take care of it in one day, which is quite good for us.

We mainly talk to them via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their professionalism and ability to respond promptly are the most important things for us, along with the quality of the work. Overall, we’re pretty happy so far.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s always room for improvement. It could be good to have direct communication with the developers in case something gets lost in translation. When we were growing, we had one IT person and worked directly with her, giving us fast feedback. Therefore, it could be better to have direct communication with the developers.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Work openly with them. We’re happy with We Are OSM, so I think other customers might be too, but everyone has their own experience.

I am the CEO of Viola Pharma LTD. We import and market health products, particularly jugs and water filters that are specialized in magnesium water.

I needed help with the UX/UI of my website.

We Are OSM made us define our expectations for the website and online store. Then, we worked together to build the site structure, user flow, and design. We focused on the UX, particularly the look and feel of the website. 

We Are OSM researched extensively our competitors’ websites, and they provided advice. For the content, I gave them materials and documents about magnesium and its importance in drinking water. I also shared with them our photo library.

I work with a team of five people.

I struggled with providers in Israel, as I found it difficult to explain the look and feel that I want for my website. I was frustrated with the service they gave me and their designs. Later, I read a blog about Elementor Pro and We Are OSM was mentioned. I contacted them, and they quickly responded.

I’m a co-founder and CFO of a medical device company. We primarily supply dialysis clinics.

What challenge were you trying to address with We Are OSM?

We needed to create a logo and design.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They put all our ideas and writing into the design. We went through several logo iterations, and are currently choosing the final logo. We’ve also designed the website, including choosing colors, layout, and format. We’re not finalizing the content on our side. They’re also going to be doing the coding. We want to keep it as easy as possible, so we want to have a layman-friendly website. It will be on WordPress. It’s a corporate website, rather than something more complicated like an e-commerce website.

After that, they opened our eyes to some things we were lacking including hosting providing. We’re considering starting another contract with them to provide that service as well.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 3-4 people, on and off. One is a designer, one is a project manager, one is a developer, and one is a general account resource.

I was trying to work with them at my previous job running a venture capital firm and knew of their quality. I’d recommended them to several people as well. When we launched our new company, we looked for a vendor that could provide fast turnaround.

They did a stellar job with the logo and creation and layout of the website. The other co-founders were blown away by their prior work, and the ideas We Are OSM came up with for us were right on spot.

How did We Are OSM perform from a project management standpoint?

Their responsiveness is amazing; the design team responds within the hour. I didn’t have to worry about whether some would respond or not. They would even reach out to us, communicating proactively. I valued that characteristic a lot.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m torn between their responsiveness and creativity. Everything has been seamless. Their design team listened and knew exactly what we needed, and they did so quickly. We’re always trying to catch up with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have zero comments about this. If they did anything better, then I would be surprised. They’re the ideal combination of price and quality. They’re the best value for the money.

Be open and share ideas. You’ll find very proactive people. They’re attentive to your needs and will give suggestions, guidance, and proposals. They’ll augment the project, rather than just doing what they’re told.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They had a good grasp of the standards and needs for the project. I have worked with offshore vendors previously that didn’t, and it caused issues. I was very comfortable handing project management over to them with different clients that we had. I am very happy with the work they did.

How did OSM perform from a project management standpoint?

They did very well. They were organized, used standard project management tools, and worked in sprints. They easily met deadlines in the beginning. As projects were more complex, they communicated when a deadline was not going to be met, and explained the reasoning.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciated their capacity to listen to the client and translate the requirements into results.

Are there any areas they could improve?

As a growing company, they could perhaps plan better for that growth. We had to wait for them to hire resources in the last project we did together.
