I’m a senior brand manager at TalentVerse. We’re a staffing company that provides an AI recruiting platform that facilitates startups and medium-sized enterprises to hire software engineers in record time.

For instance, if a company is looking to hire a remote partner developer, they can share their requirements with us, and in a span of approximately 24 hours, we will shortlist the developers from our database that best fit the customer’s requirements.

What challenge were you trying to address with VitruvianAgency?

As a brand manager, part of my responsibility is to supervise the company’s SEO and social media marketing (SMM) strategy. I was looking for a digital agency to manage our SMM content calendar and SEO efforts to improve our organic search rankings on Google.

What was the scope of their involvement?

VitruvianAgency manages our SEO and SMM strategies. Initially, we met with VitruvianAgency’s account manager. We presented our project’s main goals, and VitruvianAgency designed an SEO and SMM strategy to meet those goals. The strategy also includes the KPIs VitruvianAgency plans to achieve in the first three months of our engagement.

Once we had set a budget, VitruvianAgency shared a comprehensive social media content calendar for our LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, and they’re currently implementing it. VitruvianAgency has also created a guest posting strategy and will soon launch a thought leadership articles strategy on Twitter based on our talent's factual skills.

Moreover, VitruvianAgency creates our social media content, including copy, graphic design, and hashtag strategy. They also take care of our community management. One of the social media campaigns VitruvianAgency has created for us is specifically designed to reach new developers and increase our tech talent community. 

What is the team composition?

My initial point of contact was Vitruvian Agency’s account manager. I then met Shah (Managing Partner). He’s not present in all meetings but gets involved when we’re going to implement a new strategy or when we need new ideas. 

A bigger team from VitruvianAgency is working on my project; however, I haven’t met with them. 

How did you come to work with VitruvianAgency?

A colleague I had previously worked with referred VitruvianAgency to me. When a marketing agency offers me services, I look at how they’ve branded their company’s website. I chose VitruvianAgency because I liked their website and the strategies they presented to reach my company’s expansion goals.

How much have you invested with them?

We have a budget of $24,000 for our three-month agreement.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in January 2023, and our initial agreement is for three months. Once these three months are over, we will most likely work with VitruvianAgency again.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’ve asked VitruvianAgency to focus the SEO strategy on five service pages besides the general website. Our goal is for those pages to rank in the top 10–15 search results by the end of February 2023. We’re already in that range, and the engagement hasn’t finished yet. VitruvianAgency deals with a high volume of keyword search terms and has performed excellently so far.

Moreover, I’ve found 12 new resources thanks to VitruvianAgency’s social media campaign. They’ve also added the new developers’ profiles to my LinkedIn page to give us more traction. 

How did VitruvianAgency perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m completely satisfied with VitruvianAgency’s project management. They meet deadlines and stay on budget. We use Trello to share the content and assets before VitruvianAgency publishes them. If I need to ask VitruvianAgency for a change, I do it through our Trello dashboard.

My communication with VitruvianAgency is smooth and efficient. We have weekly meetings through Zoom and Google Meet. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with VitruvianAgency’s ability to innovate and invest in the project. They’re creative and propose new ideas to meet their client’s needs. For instance, the goal of increasing our developers’ bench wasn’t part of our original agreement. I just mentioned it one day, and VitruvianAgency told me they could include this goal in the project’s KPIs and developed a SMM strategy for this objective. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything for VitruvianAgency to improve. I’ve had a positive experience so far.

Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the SEO services provided by Vitruvian Agency. 

However, one area for improvement could be in their reporting. While their reports were comprehensive and provided valuable insights, they were often quite technical and could be difficult to understand for someone without an SEO background. It would have been helpful if they could have presented the information in a more accessible and easy-to-digest format for our team.
