I am the CEO of a value-added computer reseller. We sell equipment such as personal systems, server storage, and networking systems to large corporate customers.

What challenge were you trying to address with VintenCloud?

We needed help customizing NetSuite because it’s the primary software we use to run our business from A-Z. We also needed help with web development. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

VintenCloud designed and developed our website from scratch within the NetSuite framework. They customize, modify, and maintain the site using NetSuite. They also update the site and keep the pages current by posting our press releases. Additionally, they work on other development projects, such as improving our internal reporting and other items. 

What is the team composition?

We work with three VintenCloud team members: Augustina (COO), Martin (CTO), and Alfonso (Software Engineer & CEO). 

How did you come to work with VintenCloud?

The VintenCloud team used to work for NetSuite and left the company to start VintenCloud. We knew they had the experience we were looking for, so we moved forward with the engagement.

How much have you invested with them?

We have invested roughly $50,000–$75,000 in the partnership.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with VintenCloud in August 2017, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

VintenCloud improved the functionality of our NetSuite platform, making it easier to navigate. Their website design has also been well-received.

How did VintenCloud perform from a project management standpoint?

VintenCloud does what they promise; they consistently deliver on time and make the changes we ask for. They’re responsive partners, and we use Microsoft Teams and email to communicate. We manage the project within a shared Teams channel.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We are most impressed with their expertise. The VintenCloud team is very experienced and good at what they do. They're also more responsive and less costly than other partners; they do excellent quality work at a reasonable price. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing VintenCloud could improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to engage VintenCloud, and let the chips fall where they may. They know a lot about customizing NetSuite, so be open to their expertise, and the engagement should work well.

For what projects/services did your company hire VintenCloud, and what were your goals?

Complete redesign and full implementation of our corporate website using SuiteCommerce Advanced and Oracle NetSuite.

How did you select VintenCloud and what were the deciding factors?

They have specific and unique experience in the full technology stack.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We started by developing a proof of concept to make sure that we could use custom records in NetSuite to manage our content. After developing the POC we started to breakout each part of our website into cards on a Trello board. Piece by piece they implement the backend infrastructure, and then the front end.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

4 total so far. The two founders and two other developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project has by far exceeded our expectations. We have already released parts of our the site overhaul, namely the My Account section that has been in production for well over 18 months. Its but a true success.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

We chat daily using Slack. Our team is distributed across North American time zones. We meet weekly via Zoom for check in and progress meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They listen to our needs and spend the time to truly understand the problem before suggesting solutions. They are methodical in their process and do not rush to solve the problem quickly if the solution is not robust and forward thinking.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not yet.

I’m the marketing manager for a bike parts and components distributor.

What challenges were you trying to address with VintenCloud?

We were building a new website using NetSuite. I was using a NetSuite template and working with the NetSuite team, but I quickly realized that I wanted more assistance than they could provide. That’s why I reached out to VintenCloud. They filled in all the areas that NetSuite swept over.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They enhanced the NetSuite template we were working with and made our website more robust, easy to use, and accessible. They also provided great suggestions and consulted with us on how to ensure our website’s success. 

What is the team composition?

We worked primarily with Agustina (Co-Founder) and Alfonso (Software Engineer). 

How did you come to work with VintenCloud?

They were recommended to me by a friend. They had extensive NetSuite experience and understood my problems after our first interaction. 

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them in early-2019. The website development project is complete, but I still go to them for ongoing assistance.

Their problem solving was great, and they provided a lot of custom work. The new website was a lot more accessible and easier to use. 

How did VintenCloud perform from a project management standpoint?

They had clear and honest communication. They also provided a lot of context and direction for their project management with timelines and planning. It felt good to work with people who had the problem at the forefront of their minds as much as I did. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their understanding of the client’s perspective is most impressive.

No, I don’t have anything critical to share. I had a very positive experience with them.

It’s worth it to set up a consultation call. They’re very open and honest about what they can do and how they would approach things.

Le Mouton is an Uruguayan brand born in 2016 by the Industrial Designers Lucie Beare and María Eugenia Pienovi. With a fresh and avant-garde look, the brand uses noble raw materials combining uruguayan leather and wool felt, giving its collections an original and modern touch. Le Mouton products are carefully crafted with fine finishes and excellent quality, designed and handmade in Uruguay. I am one of the directors.

What were your goals for this project?

Firstly increase sales and product reach in Uruguay and to the rest of the world. Make it more friendly and easy for the customer.

They designed and developed our new ecommerce with our needs. They have created solutions to problems we had in our previous website and added more functionalities we did not have.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our sales had increased in the last 4 months, we duplicate sales from the last website. We are really happy with this new ecommerce designed and developed by Vinten.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was excellent and still is. They're always on time and solve any problem we may have. Also with updates and improving the ecommerce. Communication is excellent and they are very responsible for compliance with deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The desire to improve our e-commerce solution every day stands out to us, with news and updates for a better experience of our clients.

Are there any areas for improvement?

So far, no need for improvement, we are very satisfied with our ecommerce.

Perpetua is an Uruguayan handmade leather shoes and accesories brand, born in 2017. I am one of the owners and the fashion designer of the brand.

We hired VintenCloud for the design and development of our e-commerce.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for a website development company, so we contacted Vintencloud and chose them , because they had experience developing websites for companies dedicated to the sale of Uruguayan design products.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

First we held a meeting with Vintencloud telling them how we wanted our e-commerce, then they presented us a mock of our website and finally after some tests, we launched it.

4 people from the Vintencloud team worked with us, which are software engineers and graphic designers.

We duplicate our sales compared to before we had the e-commerce.

The project management was excellent and still is.  They always help us, and they solve things very quickly. They are a very efficient team.

The willingness and speed to help us when there is a problem and for helping us improve and add new options to the web with the sole purpose of selling more every day.

No yet, we are very satisfied with our e-commerce.
