VertCode Development is an EU-registered, senior-only AI engineering studio based in Athens, Greece. We build production-grade LLM systems for two kinds of clients: SaaS companies shipping AI features into their product, and European businesses that want internal AI tools their teams will actually use — delivered EU AI Act-ready and GDPR-native by default.
We don't sell demos or proofs of concept. We ship systems that run in production at real scale. Our engineers have scaled AI to more than 8 million users on StudyFetch and run over 100,000 AI requests a day in production on Analyse. HodosOps, our own product, is AI dispatch for field service teams, built GDPR-native with EU data residency.
What we build:
- AI integration and LLM engineering: RAG systems, agent workflows, and AI product features, with evals, cost optimization, and monitoring.
- EU AI Act compliance: transparency and risk obligations built into the system from the start, not bolted on afterwards.
- Custom product engineering: full-stack Next.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL, delivered by senior engineers.
- AI infrastructure and scaling: LLM cost optimization, vector databases, and production observability.
- Internal AI tools for business: copilots, document and knowledge search, and workflow automation, with a human approval step and EU data residency.
How we work: fixed scope, fixed timeline, and real delivery dates. Senior engineers only, no juniors on client work. We are EU-based and GDPR-native by default, and you own everything we deliver.
We work with European, US, and UK teams. Most engagements start with a short paid sprint that produces a technical spec, a cost model, and a working prototype, so you know exactly what you are getting before committing to the full build.
