Please describe your company and your position there.

AKA Raisin is the leading SaaS platform in Canada for non-profit fundraising events. I am the Senior Agile Lead working with a development team of 7 and 3 QAs.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Veraqor, Inc.?

Our legacy on-premises reporting architecture was plagued with latency and capacity issues. We needed to move that part of the infrastructure to a scalable cloud-based solution. We wanted an independent 3rd party to assist in making the best solution design.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We interviewed three vendors and did an initial workshop with each. Veraqor was selected for its breadth of vendor experience and responsiveness.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Through a series of workshops, Veraqor evaluated our requirements and proposed a design. We reviewed and reconfirmed our changes with Veraqor.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Four resources with one primary Senior Architect.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have successfully started our POC and the implementation is going as expected.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Excellent. Veraqor was very responsive and got answers to questions in asynchronous sessions. Meetings were smooth.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their responsiveness. Despite being a small engagement they were available and delivered quickly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really. Very well done.
