The website and application underwent rigorous testing for usability and performance prior to launch.

Key deliverables of the project included a fully functional website, desktop application, and mobile application, all meeting the specified requirements. Comprehensive testing and validation reports were provided to confirm the platform’s readiness for deployment. Additionally, a commitment to ongoing maintenance, updates and technical support ensures that the platform remains efficient and effective post-launch.

The measurable outcomes from the TalkHSE website and application development project include the successful launch of the website, which is now live and fully functional. The platform has met performance benchmarks, ensuring responsiveness and stability, as confirmed by pre-launch testing. Ongoing technical support and regular updates are being provided to address any issues and enhance the platform as it progresses toward full deployment.

The project management for the development was highly collaborative and effective. Velocity Labs Ltd delivered items on time, working closely with me to incorporate any additional elements or changes I requested. There was a strong emphasis on two-way communication and continuous learning, ensuring that both parties were aligned throughout the process. Regular messaging and meetings were held, providing a platform for open communication. Both parties agreed on realistic timeframes, which contributed to the successful and timely delivery of the project.

Velocity Labs Ltd fully scoped and delivered our updated UI/UX design, redesigning the entire brand experience to match our target market. Their task was to take our V1 product, strip it down to its essentials, amplify what mattered, and rebuild it to fit our new branding and upcoming feature releases. They provided end-to-end output, including wireframes, prototypes, final design files, and full support and consulting throughout the process.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We saw a strong uplift in community sentiment, reflected in higher approval ratings across Discord and social channels. We also saw faster execution and rollout of new features thanks to clearer UX flows and reduced ambiguity. Additionally, we saw a shorter time to finalize product decisions due to their structured wireframes and prototypes.

Moreover, we saw increased creator activation and campaign participation once the new UI went live. We also saw higher conversion from onboarding to the first content submission and fewer moderation and support tickets tied to user confusion. Overall, we saw a more consistent brand experience across mobile and web, leading to better engagement metrics.

After the redesign, we saw clear measurable lifts across the product and community. Creator activity increased by roughly 10%, social engagement rose noticeably across our main channels, and the improved UX helped unlock 17% more client conversions on the brand side. These shifts gave us a sharper feedback loop and validated the direction of the new UI.

The biggest drivers were the redesigned onboarding flow and the new structural clarity we brought to the double-sided marketplace. The onboarding revamp made it far easier for both creators and brands to understand what to do next, reducing friction from the first tap. The clearer separation of creator tools, brand actions, campaign discovery, and rewards gave each side a more intuitive path through the app. Those two shifts alone had a direct impact on activation, engagement, and overall product velocity.

The team really understood the project and the target audience. Their ability to work inside a fast-paced, constantly shifting tech environment and still deliver meaningful product impact was genuinely impressive. They were always available when we needed them, and it felt far more like a direct extension of our own team than an external service provider.

We're still working with Velocity Labs Ltd, and our launch is scheduled for November 2025. We're evaluating the success of the project based on getting all work streams done on time and to a high enough standard that I'm happy with them.

We have a project plan that we monitor with various sub work streams and deadline dates. We've experienced some slippage, but these have been reasonable given the context. For example, we moved the launch date from October 2025 to November 2025, but some of the delays were also with me.

Overall, I'd describe Velocity Labs Ltd's project management as responsive. The team is happy to be a sounding board and direct with feedback, which is good. We communicate through Basecamp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Velocity Labs Ltd's understanding of my needs and vision is impressive. The team can express them in a way that's almost better than I could. They also have great ideas for how I can be bigger, stronger, and better. I appreciate how they challenge me on my views. They also adapted their standard approach to meet my needs. I wanted to be very hands-on and do a lot of the work myself to keep costs down, so they adapted to that. We ended up with a guided DIY approach for some of the work streams, which worked well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Regarding improvements, nothing stands out. If anything, they could stick to timelines a bit better on some of the design work, but given the context this was reasonable.

Velocity Labs Ltd has helped translate my vision into a UX/UI-friendly format to create and code the whole app. The team has taken deep dives into areas that exceed the normal requirements for early-stage apps. Key features include complex user and permission integrations that allow app users to create large teams to share data while still controlling who can see what on an individual basis. Velocity Labs Ltd has also built a media upload system capable of compressing, storing, and playing back lengthy HD media files of fast-moving sports media. The team has created valuable voice note and scripting features that work in real time across the app.

Velocity Labs Ltd has provided constant updates and version releases of the app. The team has also created a login framework for me to see the progress firsthand whenever I want. We haven't publicly launched the app yet, but I envisage 2,000 users in the first three months and 10,000 users in the first year.

Velocity Labs Ltd has mostly delivered on time. Obvious unforeseen glitches in the code and technology occur, and sometimes unexpected complexities come up. We communicate via team video calls and Basecamp for day-to-day updates and queries.

I like that Velocity Labs Ltd hasn't just blindly built what I wanted; they've given their opinions and pushed back where necessary. The team has been incredibly patient with me throughout the process. Moreover, the knowledge and creative depth of Velocity Labs Ltd's team are incredible.
