Vellumarc Digital started with a simple idea: build things properly.
What began with a curiosity for code gradually became something much more serious — a desire to understand how digital products work, why some feel effortless to use while others don't, and what it takes to build something that can keep working long after it has been launched.
That thinking became Vellumarc.
Today, we build websites, web applications, Shopify stores, mobile apps, and other digital products for businesses that want to move their ideas online and build them properly from the start.
Our roots are in development. We work primarily with modern technologies such as Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Node.js, and we bring the same attention to detail to Shopify, mobile applications, infrastructure, and digital marketing when a project requires it.
But technology is only one part of the work.
We care about how a project is planned, how decisions are made, how clearly a client can see what is happening, and what happens after the website or product goes live. That's why we work in small, focused sprints, share progress regularly, give clients access to staging during development, and keep communication open throughout the project.
We also believe that a client should never feel locked into the agency that built their product. When a project is complete, the source code, infrastructure credentials, and documentation belong with the client.
Vellumarc works with clients primarily in India, Canada, and the United States, along with businesses in other markets. Our work has included projects for schools, healthcare organizations, D2C brands, and B2B SaaS companies.
We're still building Vellumarc ourselves. And perhaps that's why we understand what it feels like to build something from the ground up.

We hired Vellumarc Digital to take our computer parts business online and create a professional Shopify e-commerce store. Our main objective was to expand beyond our three physical branches, make our products easily accessible to customers online, and provide a smooth shopping experience where customers could browse and purchase products directly from our website.

Vellumarc Digital handled the complete design and development of our Shopify e-commerce store. They designed the storefront, added and organized our products, and custom-developed the entire theme. They also set up the store structure, navigation, information and privacy pages, and integrated apps for ratings, online payments, and shipping. The website was made fully responsive across devices and was tested, optimized, and prepared for SEO.Moreover, Vellumarc Digital provided 30 days of free post-launch support after the Shopify store went live. During this period, they assisted with updates, minor adjustments, troubleshooting, and other support required to ensure the store continued to function smoothly.

The project successfully established our online sales channel and allowed us to move beyond our three physical branches. Customers can now easily browse our computer products, view product information, and place orders online. The new Shopify store also gave us a professional, responsive, and SEO-optimized platform to support our business growth online.As this was our first Shopify store, we don’t have sufficient sales or traffic data to share. The store has recently been launched, and we’re currently preparing to start running online advertising. We expect to have more meaningful data on traffic, engagement, and online sales as the store gains traction. So far, we’re very pleased with the foundation Vellumarc Digital has helped us build for our online business.

Vellumarc Digital delivered everything on time, and their project management was quite good as well. We were informed of every step of the project. Our primary form of communication was virtual meetings.
