Owner and marketing manager of an online e-commerce store.

For what projects/services did your company hire VAIUS, and what were your goals?

We were looking for a qualified team to create a unique subscription model for our e-commerce store that required a complex set-up for initiating the subscription model as well as keeping organized the recurring charges.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After some initial research Vaius is one of the few vendors that had the qualification and experience to complete the project.

Preliminary discussions were first made regarding the scope and requirements of the project - from both sides. Next a organized flow of implementations was created and followed. A proper understanding of Shopify, Shopify's Liquid code and the recharge platform was required.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I was in contact with project manager and lead developer through the duration of the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After a few weeks of development, the project went live and was successful.

The project manager, Jay, and the lead developer are always available to answer any questions. The Vaius team always responds in a timely manner, usually within a few minutes or hours. Slack is used as a communication channel

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their communication and speed of implementation are most impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Documentation and reporting structure during the initial project could have been better, however the Vaius team has been constantly improving and as of now, it seems to be vastly better.

Adamant K.K. was a consultancy dealing with international clients trying to get established in IT in Japan. A lot of companies find it hard to find IT workers in Japan due to cultural differences so we helped close that gab. I was a partner and software engineer at Adamant K.K. However since covid-19 happened I no longer work for/with Adamant K.K. due to business drying up and half our team not physically being able to enter Japan. We sacked the entity and went our own ways.

I've known Jayden (director of VAIUS) for a long time, hes helped me and my cofounders many times. On this project we required extra hands to set up some nodes for the Tezos network. VAIUS has greatly helped us with designing and implementing a secure architecture using AWS cloudfront as a proxy for our resources at @TOKYO datacenter.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I've relied on the services of the founder many times in the past and I thus I knew they would deliver on time and within spec. We needed someone reliable who we could trust as it was a fintech client and at the time very sensitive. The project is now retired and NDA expired.

Jayden flew over and set in with us on the meeting with the client. We drew up the wireframes afterwards and got to making the docs. once the client accepted these me and some workers at @TOKYO implemented it. I contacted a developer working for VAIUS during this for help with setting up the physical servers.

A fullstack developer and the director.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We launched on time and within spec. Client was happy, we were happy. Work was of good quality and I've later been told they still used the specs VAIUS wrote.

Very direct and personable. You can always hit them up with questions and they will try to help you even if its not for a project directly. VAIUS doesn't seem like a very commercial group as much as it seems like they have a passion to help you achieve your goals

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have passion for getting people ahead in the world and the vision to carry it through.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

He could have handled it with a call instead of flying all the way to Japan but I don't blame him for using it as an excuse to come over.

We hired VAIUS for website development and optimization on various different levels. To ultimately acheive higher conversion rates for our business.

I received a recommendation from a very well respected acquaintance in the industry to connect with VAIUS.

Work consists on weekly testing and optimization of different aspects of the websites through a very exemplary communication via different tools and communication platforms.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I am not awate of the position of the people working with me, given it's not much of importance to me if the expected results are met. Only one person has been enough to work with to run everything correctly and smoothly.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Results have been little and consistent improvements of CRO (conversion rate optimization) during an extended and indefinite period of time, this has been delivered satisfactorily to my appreciation.

I am not aware of how they perform their work internally. The requirements have always been delivered on time. And communication is mainly through SLACK platform.

The delivery of consistently good results for my business and the good attention and commitment to meet those results.

I cannot think of something right now.

We hired VAIUS for a full website redesign and rebuild as well as ongoing maintenance and custom full stack dev work.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

VAIUS has great pricing compared to a lot of companies and a great portfolio of previous work.

VAIUS redesigned and rebuilt our entire website on the Shopify platform, provided ongoing maintenance, conversion rate optimization & custom full stack solutions on a monthly basis.

We worked with 2 people, Jay (The owner) and Ivan, one of the devs.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

VAIUS helped us drastically increase our conversion rate, which in the world of eCommerce can amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years.

We were in communication a few times a week generally unless there was something major we were working on. The communication was always good and projects were completed in a timely manner and on schedule.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their price point is fantastic but they don't lack quality like most other agencies do when you pay less, they've built a great system to balance price and quality well.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No complaints on our end, they did everything they said and did it quickly and for a great price.
