I am the COO and manager of the project.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire UXDivers?

We were looking to build a mobile application that was heavy on design and ease of use. We hired them for all design, creative and xamarin development.

How did you select this vendor?

We interviewed many vendors via zoom meetings and after going through them we felt UX Divers was the best fit for our team. They were very knowledgeable personable and enthusiastic about working on our project.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

They created designs of each screen using resources we provided them and what we were looking to accomplish. We provided them examples from existing apps that we liked and components of them we want to use.

We had design meetings weekly for each workflow and went through a review and iteration process. Once we were satisfied we moved to development of each workflow.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with their lead developer and head of development/program manager. Head designer and head of creative. We weekly worked with 4 team members.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were very pleased with the design and function of the app. The ease of the user experience was very polished and seamless. Our development team was able to take their deliverables and utilize them with minimum friction. We were able to begin user testing the new app.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We worked hand in hand with the team ensuring we were on track and updated our timeline and milestones as we went. The communication was excellent and we used slack to communicate daily on the status and progress.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their energy and excitement in the team. The personalities of the team members really shined and their passion was apparent in our working together. They are experts at what they do and their creative and design team are exceptional.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had great communication and we knew where the project was at all times. One of the obstacles we worked through was being in different time zones but there was nothing we could do about that.
