● Successful configuration of communication flows and routing through specific ports to enable data consumption between servers.

● Execution and documentation of communication tests, remote command execution permissions, file extraction, and content listing, ensuring technical feasibility before development.

Data Management and Storage:
● Development and implementation of automated scripts for collecting both historical and daily information, optimizing processing times.

● Implementation of re-ing processes to correct omissions and eliminate duplicates from the source, ensuring data consistency and quality on the platform.

● Design and implementation of a standardized directory structure by server, year, and month, facilitating the administration and querying of large volumes of data.

● Successful transfer of more than 18TB of information, achieving 100% completion of scheduled ingestion from multiple hosts. Analysis and Visualization

We needed help with the implementation of big data projects.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Urdaten RichIT developed use cases for Elasticsearch integrations via syslog or native connectors for incorporation into the XDR suite. The team was responsible for the entire project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September 2024–December 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Urdaten RichIT's work led to operational and technical achievements. The team established a continuous data flow for specific types of events, ensuring immediate availability of information for analysis. Urdaten RichIT also built custom ETL pipelines to process complex data structures and various source formats.Moreover, the team implemented tools for the automatic and secure copying of historical and daily files to mass storage infrastructures without altering the integrity of the original information. Urdaten RichIT also configured index templates, data lifecycle policies, and periodic backups to efficiently manage information retention and recovery.In addition, the team completed the massive migration of historical data accumulated over several years, ensuring the continuity of institutional knowledge. Urdaten RichIT also mapped and parsed fields to normalize data from different sources, allowing its correct visualization and querying in analysis tools.Finally, the team deployed control logs that allow the identification of processing failures and provide clear evidence of the execution of the services.Overall, we immediately had access to specialized clusters where staff can use analytics and correlation tools for data-driven decision-making. The transition to the new big data infrastructure eliminated critical risks associated with the completion of previous contracts and lack of technical support.

Urdaten RichIT had high-level project management. The team maintained excellent project monitoring in all aspects, kept us informed about the progress, resolved any impediments that arose, and completed the project within the established timeframe.

What challenge were you trying to address with Urdaten RichIT?

We needed support with big data projects to satisfy our customer objectives, including process optimization, technical design, process automation, avoiding data loss, data policies, backup information, and knowledge transfer sessions.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Urdaten RichIT integrated Elasticsearch for the ingestion of PostgreSQL and Oracle databases. The team also automated processes from different infrastructures to a centralized big data platform. Other deliverables included pipelines for data ingestion, strategies and quality metrics, technical design, and knowledge transfer sessions.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two teammates from Urdaten RichIT.

How did you come to work with Urdaten RichIT?

Someone referred Urdaten RichIT to us. We chose them over other options because they had high ratings, were close to our geographic location, offered good value for the cost, and had aligned company values.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Urdaten RichIT delivered technical documentation, courses, and platforms that worked well. The team helped us avoid data loss, settle processes, and reduce time. It was easier to get and analyze data after the project.

How did Urdaten RichIT perform from a project management standpoint?

Urdaten RichIT’s project management team was always in communication with us and all the stakeholders. They had a really good follow-up and expressed the risks and details on time. The team always had the milestones in mind and worked to accomplish them.We communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

Urdaten RichIT’s way of working was impressive. They had a really good team that worked proactively and was very talented. The team knew what they were doing and worked in an excellent way.
