The company VAST is engaged in the production of equipment for the production of paving slabs. on the market for 7 years. the company also sells paving slabs in Ukraine I hold the position of head of the innovation and development department

For what projects/services did your company hire Upper Code, and what were your goals?

Our company has been engaged in the production of concrete products for a long time. But we did not have an accounting program at the enterprise. We turned to Upper Code to create an accounting program for our business processes.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I studied companies in the region that specialize in tasks of our type, identified 3 suppliers and we settled on Uppercode. The guys had about 10 negotiations with us before starting to design architecture.

We have approved this procedure

• sales automation (connecting IP telephony, website, social networks, sales funnel, fixing buyers in the system and completing the deal)
• automation of production (accounting for the production of materials, an application for production from the sales department, production of products from the request of the sales department, fixing defects in production)
• logistics (accounting for departures of cars with products to the buyer, returnable packaging, fuel consumption)
• Upercode company used a cloud solution so that access was possible from a phone or computer, the programming language is php (larawel)

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

when we switched to VAST ERP, the number of products in the warehouse decreased because the sales manager, opening the program, saw what was left and sold them and did not make a new request for production. Separate production began to check the amount of material spent on the manufacture of products and at the end of the month we could calculate the volume of consumable material

We conducted the project in trello, having described all the tasks in more detail, and controlled their implementation. deadlines were set at one week. one task was divided into 5 days and executed, for the next 5 days it was tested and a new task was taken into work in this way we "built our program brick by brick»

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Upper Code was constantly involved in the project and offered their vision of solutions. So it was easier to choose and speed up the process of developing and launching the program

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Various options were offered, we only had to confirm our vision using the recommended technologies.

Development of a web platform for the work of laboratory staff.The goal is to speed up the work and reduce the errors of the company's employees when working with clients.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We met through mutual friends. When discussing future work, I received answers to my questions and a vision of how the process of creating a web platform will go. I liked everything.

I outlined the idea of ​​what I expect from the final product, what tasks it should solve, and the development period. A week later, after the conversation, the head of the company Upper Code, Vyacheslav, suggested making changes and justified that his version would make my web platform better and cheaper to develop. I am grateful to him for this.

After that, the development period began. Every month, and sometimes every week, we met and discussed how the development was going. It should be noted that the development was accompanied by constant discussions with the staff of my laboratory, since the program was developed for them. As a result, in July 2017, we were presented with a finished product. I am very happy because my dream came true.

As soon as we implemented the web platform in our work, the speed of the laboratory staff increased by 40%. Errors were reduced by 300%
