I’m the CEO of LinkUp Studio. We’re a product and software development company.

What challenge were you trying to address with UnameIT?

Our recruitment process didn’t work anymore. We required someone to adapt the new one, communicate with people and keep them working as long and efficiently as possible.

What was the scope of their involvement?

UnameIT has set up the HR process and helped with recruitment. First, they dove into our HR department and analyzed it. Then, we set up a plan on how to reform it.

They’ve also found the right HR person, closed the position, and trained them.

What is the team composition?

I stay connected to four people. Sofiya (Co-Founder) is our main point of contact and the leader of the organization. In general, I work with a team leader and another two people.

How did you come to work with UnameIT?

Usually, consultants have a program that they just go through and check the background boxes. What we liked about UnameIT was that they first came to understand how our organization works. They adapted their process to our company, and that’s what we appreciated the most.

How much have you invested with them?

The HR process setup was about $2,500. Altogether, we’ve spent around $4,000–$5,000. They charge for each service independently.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in mid-January 2021, and our relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We didn’t have the right mechanism to review employee’s salaries, and they made those changes in the process. Also, shifting and firing within the company has reduced about 20%, but it’s not an accurate statistic.

How did UnameIT perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been good with project management. They’re very flexible. For example, we realized that we had a big problem with employee branding, so we spent three-week sessions on it when it usually takes a one-week session. They’re willing to put effort into the work that actually requires time.

I have calls with Sofiya; half of the time, she comes to our office, and the other half is online communication through Google Meets. However, my HR department has 75% personal contact and 25% online communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Considering that they work with the HR department, the best thing is that we haven’t lost the soul of our company. They understood us and adapted their plan to us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Maybe they could be a little more communicative. I like to know everything within seconds, and sometimes they report until they have the results. I’d appreciate it if they updated us in the process more calmly, but it’s not a major issue.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t be afraid to work with a consultant. It’s not always poor work — UnameIT definitely proves it.
