I’m the CEO and owner of a digital marketing agency called Montes Digital.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ultimate Video Academy?

I hired them for video production consulting services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They put together a 3-month program for me to follow, providing weekly in-person meetings and assignments. Throughout our engagement, Michael (Director, Ultimate Video Academy) coached me and taught me different production strategies and techniques to grow my business. 

What is the team composition?

Michael was my only point of contact. 

How did you come to work with Ultimate Video Academy?

I searched online using Google and Thumbtack. Michael was one of the people who reached out to me, so I interviewed him over the phone and he followed up via email. We had different conversations with stakeholders in the company and we chose him. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $3,000–$4,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together between January–March 2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Before working with Michael, I lacked confidence in video production assignments. Now, I know what to do and can confidently accomplish these projects. I went from doing one video per month to producing one every single week. I’ve also been able to increase my video production rate from around $300 to $5,000 because of the expertise I gained from Michael. 

How did Ultimate Video Academy perform from a project management standpoint?

He was always very responsible and cared about the success of the project. He still checks in with me every two months, even though the project is over. All of the consultation work was done in-person.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It wasn’t just a transaction with Michael—he was very invested in my success and helping me grow as a professional. His attention to detail made him stand out from others. He was very organized and particular with his approach. This is his gift and he taught me how to stand out. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Perhaps providing more resources. For example, I was creating my own notes in binders and workbooks, so it could have been helpful if he provided the resources to me. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Use him as a resource. He’ll be willing to help with anything, so don’t be afraid to reach out and pick his brain as much as possible.
