BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of a FInTech startup. We build and launch technology ventures across several verticals, mainly in the FinTech space.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Tweerous OOD?

We required a development team that was up to speed with complex fintech platforms to develop a money trading platform. They needed to be able to deal with large quantities of data and manage it within a secure environment because user privacy is of the upmost importance.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, they provided feedback on our designs and helped us improve them from a development perspective. Then they began developing our mobile app’s front- and backend using Swift for iOS and native development. They also used React Native and JavaScript. After that, they built our web app with a serverless backend based on Firebase, Lambda, and AWS.

They integrated our platform with payment providers and created payment gateways. A large part of the project was synching our application with third party bankers and trading providers, which enables us to execute real trades. With user management and account creation, we needed a plug-in with third-party providers that would allow us to verify customer identification information.

They also helped us create a trading and investment platform that links to several crypto trading exchanges, allowing for trades across multiple platforms.

The project lasted from November 2017–October 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The application we launched has over 1,000 reviews on the app store and has an average rating of 4.9 stars out of 5. Of all the providers we’ve worked with, Tweerous OOD has been the best. They’re a high-quality team and I wholeheartedly recommend working with them.

How did Tweerous OOD perform from a project management standpoint?

They operated fairly autonomously and managed their own ticketing system. We just needed to tell them what we wanted, and they would get it done. They adhered to every deadline we gave them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The biggest differentiator between their Tweerous OOD and other providers was how independent their team is. I just needed to give them a broad scope, and they get it done in the most effective way. Typically, when we work with agencies, they require a lot of micromanaging. Tweerous OOD, on the other hand, made my life easier because I could trust that they would get it done.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s not much room for improvement.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give clear instructions on what they should do. They get it done in the best and most effective way, so do your research prior to starting the project.
