What challenge were you trying to address with TripHitz?

We engaged TripHitz to design a new website for us. This way, we could reach customers online.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

TripHitz redeveloped our website from top to bottom. They put in content that describes our hotel, each of the rooms that we offer, and the businesses that can be found around our area. We provided their team with the pictures and the descriptions, and they arranged those elements on the website. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with two people from their team. 

How did you come to work with TripHitz?

TripHitz found us through a cold call. They described what their company could do for us, and we decided to go with them based on that initial conversation. I just felt at ease with them. 

How much have you invested with them?

We paid around $800–$900.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our project lasted from mid-November–December 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I was very satisfied with the outcome. TripHitz did a wonderful job. They put web pages together in a way that makes the whole website more navigable. I’m not well-versed when it comes to reading into the skill and the type of technologies that they employed for the development, but I was very happy with the partnership from start to finish. 

How did TripHitz perform from a project management standpoint?

TripHitz was excellent. They were always available and finished ahead of time. We communicated through text, calls, and email. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their strength is in their excellent customer service. They were always there to answer any question that we had. That accessibility alone is paramount to me because a lot of other providers tend to take days to get back to us. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing I can think of that would’ve made it a better experience. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Just give them a try. They will definitely meet or exceed your expectations.

I own and operate a bed and breakfast.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with TripHitz?

We had to shut down last year due to COVID-19, and we wanted to go back online, so we needed someone to develop a website for us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

TripHitz is helping us with web development to help us get back into the market. We’ve also decided to reopen under a different name, so the team is also helping us with our logo, branding, and social media. For the logo, they initially provided us with two styles to choose from, and we also gave them instructions on what we were looking for. The logo is now finished, and they sent it along with our brand guidelines. 

In terms of the website, it’s still a work in progress, and we’re collaborating on the content. Additionally, they’re creating a custom booking form to help us collect inquiries. It also has a calendar built-in so that customers can make reservations on their desired dates. 

What is the team composition?

I work with Seb (Owner & Web Consultant) and a content writer.

How did you come to work with TripHitz?

They were recommended by a friend who’s been working on their site. I chose them because they were in the lodging sector, so they were a good fit.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $1,200–$1,500. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in December 2020, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

TripHitz has been fantastic to work with. They listen to us and give us exactly what we were looking for. I honestly couldn’t think of a better logo than what the team has designed. Everyone who’s seen it has been very impressed. It makes us look really good — they’ve gone above and beyond what we’ve asked them to do.

How did TripHitz perform from a project management standpoint?

The team’s been great. We communicate via email, phone calls, and text messaging, which is great because I prefer texting. They’re incredibly responsive, and they work closely with us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The TripHitz team is results-driven, and they’re willing to partner with us in the long term. I’m also impressed by their responsiveness not only with communication but also with our needs. They’ve taken the time to get things right and deliver high-quality work. They’re also highly creative and are doing a great job with our site. It’s almost like they know our business better than we do. It’s been a great partnership.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they could improve on — they’ve been extremely good to us. However, it would be helpful if TripHitz could include Pinterest management in their services.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would recommend them if you’re still getting your image figured out. Give them a call and explain in detail what you’re looking for.
