I’m the owner of Escape.lv, an immersive escape room experience company for friends, families, and corporate teams.

What challenge were you trying to address with Trialine?

We needed support to develop and maintain our website and provide ongoing IT support. Our goals were to make online booking easier for customers, simplify reservation management for our team, and have a reliable IT partner as our business grows.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Trialine has developed and maintained our website and online booking system. Their work has included updating website features, making the booking process easier for customers, improving reservation management for our team, and resolving technical issues. They continue to support us with updates and new functionality as our business needs evolve.Specific improvements have included configurable gift card values in the admin panel, pricing based on booking time slots, discount prices displayed directly in the booking calendar, and validation of discount date ranges. Trialine has also worked on the connection between Escape Room Map and ERbooking, updated Google Tag Manager, and resolved technical issues affecting notifications and website errors.On the infrastructure side, Trialine has upgraded Django to version 5.2 LTS, migrated the system to a new server, updated outdated dependencies, and introduced regular vulnerability checks.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Trialine has delivered a working website and booking system that allows customers to make reservations online and helps our team manage them in one place. This has made the booking process more convenient and reduced manual administrative work. They’ve also implemented analytics and conversion tracking, giving us better visibility into completed bookings and marketing performance.

How did Trialine perform from a project management standpoint?

Trialine manages projects well, with clear communication and a practical understanding of our business needs. They’re responsive whenever we need support and keep us informed about progress and timelines. We’ve worked with them for years and trust them to handle our IT projects, ongoing improvements, and technical support.Our primary forms of communication are in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and email or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stands out most is how well Trialine understands our business and the way we work. We can explain what we need in everyday terms, and they help turn it into practical IT solutions. We’ve worked with them for years and feel comfortable relying on them whenever we need support or improvements. That long-term trust is the most valuable part of our partnership.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we have no suggestions for improvement. We’ve trusted Trialine with our IT needs for years, and we wouldn’t want to entrust this work to anyone else.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the co-founder of eMāja, a residential property management company. We offer a mobile and web app for apartment co-owners to facilitate online decision-making, communication, and info exchange. For building managers, the web app allows collecting meter readings (water, heat, etc), managing tenant billing, and building accounting.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Trialine to accomplish for eMāja?

We hired Trialine for solution architecture, development, and implementation for mobile, web, frontend, and backend (servers, hosting, coding, training, and help with customer onboarding). We also hired them for ongoing maintenance and changes.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Trialine has delivered the planned features. I have access to their project management system with my project, its milestones, sprints, deadlines, and statuses. I have no deep understanding of the technical details. We don’t have formal tracking of metrics, but none of our customers have left, and there have been no unplanned downtimes. There have only been minor bugs, but they’ve been fixed in a satisfactory manner.

How did Trialine perform from a project management standpoint?

In general, they’ve met the milestones and deadlines. Some of them have been delayed or postponed due to a business focus change.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

We have very close and easy communication with their project manager, who is our primary contact. His feeling and understanding are always aligned with mine. I don’t have to explain the business, UI, or other requirements twice, which is quite rare.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything for Trialine to improve.
