My website is called “Live Healthy by Jess”. We help women lose weight by calculating their macros and creating meal plans. We also provide Zumba classes virtually and in person.

What challenge were you trying to address with Transitional Web Design LLC?

I needed web design services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Transitional Web Design is helping me build my WordPress website. On the site, my customers are going to be able to check in, make all payments online, and get the resources needed for the challenges we are going to be doing. 

We’ve been having consultations to see what I want on the website. Once it’s done, we’ll focus on the marketing part.

What is the team composition?

I’m working mostly with Darren (CEO). Some partners assist Transition on other services they offer.

How did you come to work with Transitional Web Design LLC?

I knew a couple of people that had their website done by Transitional Web Design. I saw one of these sites and I was very impressed. It was very simple to follow and had everything I was looking for — like online booking functions that I also intend to implement for my Zumba classes. 

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve spent around $3,000–$3,300.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement started in January 2021, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Their work is beautiful. I’m fascinated with how easy the website is to navigate through; everything is straightforward. I basically tell them what I am looking for and they deliver. My logo has turned out amazing, too.

How did Transitional Web Design LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Trello, which helps me to see exactly what they’re working on. I’ve never had any doubts about where my money is being spent, or if they’re actually working and making the changes I require. I can see on the Trello board what has been accomplished on a weekly basis. Every time they set up a deadline, they meet it. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m very impressed with all the work the team has done. I don’t know anything about web design, but they’ve been patient and have explained clearly how everything works. They answer all my questions, and I love how organized and detail-oriented they are. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have no complaints so far. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I believe it’s crucial to have a clear vision of your project to avoid leaving the team guessing. Once you tell them your needs, they make it happen.
