Touchstone Site Certification

  Touchstone examiners have extensive experience in conducting ophthalmic clinical trials before working with our company. Among the certifications held by our examiners are COMT, CO, CRNO, MPH, COT and CCRC. Touchstone examiners have worked for some of the most prestigious research institutions in the U.S. such as the Cleveland Clinic and Doheny Eye Institute.



      All examiners are required to pass a Touchstone Examiner Preparation Course that includes a practicum and an oral test. This assures a thorough knowledge and understanding of study-specific criteria for protocol compliance. Annual audits are also required.



      Our standardized training procedure helps assure that clients will achieve comparable quantitative results at trial sites. Examiners, conveniently located across the U.S., provide individualized training for study coordinators and personnel at each study site. They can switch from exam to training mode when necessary, a cost- and time-saving factor for clients.
