Originally, from the East Coast, Ms. Tonden received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a concentration on Economics from Boston University. After moving to Los Angeles, she started out in the film business. However, her love of numbers brought her to tax preparation and bookkeeping.Ms. Tonden has worked on over 1,500 tax returns and bookkeeping projects and is an alumnus of H&R Block. She opened her own firm, Tonden &Associates in 2009, and is CTEC certified as a registered tax preparer in bothCalifornia and New York. Ms. Tonden is also an authorized ITIN Acceptance Agent with the IRS. She loves working as a problem solver for her clients, who are often entrepreneurs, musicians, artists and out-of-the-box thinkers. Ms. Tonden thinks numbers are extremely fun. She has met Bob Dylan.
