We started working with Togglebytes in January 2020. We finished the project, and we’re looking to work further with them.

There’s always room for improvement, but I can’t think of any specific flaws. They were pretty good at what they did for us.

I just think that the company was impressive as a whole. They were very good in terms of creativity, deadline management, and communication, and they think outside of the box. I’ve actually recommended them to most of my friends, and I think one or two people are already working with them.

Jyo is a handcrafted sustainable label brought to life by Indian designer Jyo Das. Started in the year 1996 with with 5 artisans creating unique designs inspired by Jyo’s vision to bring to the world eco-friendly, purpose-driven and ethical jewelry, accessories and clothing. Today, brand Jyo has a team of 200 people and 3 factories in Mumbai where the artisans create beautiful handmade pieces of jewelry and embellishments. Jyo is committed to empowering and creating livelihood for artisans, possessing unique skills of embroidery and traditional techniques passed through generations of artisan families but forgotten by the world and unrecognized for their craft. Jyo is a home to these artisans and their families where they live with dignity, celebrate today and look forward to a better tomorrow.

We hired Togglebytes for eCommerce development for our Artificial Handcrafted Jewellery bulk export business overseas.

What were your goals for this project?

We were looking for a Professional company that can create a Bulk eCommerce platform for our Digital avenue which is scale-able to meet our needs on adding more than 5000 products. We also wanted to ensure that the Company we hire has all the resources for Digital Marketing and can create a platform that is SEO friendly and can be searchable on Engines.

We had a list of 4 Vendors who were mostly the Top companies in this business. Togglebytes was referred by a dear friend of mine and I really thank her today. We really liked their Website and when we met their team and the setup, we were impressed. Their detailed understanding of our requirements and prompt response on our queries along with their clarity on the subject is what helped us to select them.

They developed an eCommerce website platform for our company Jyo Designs for our bulk

What was the team composition?

We were introduced to one Project manager who was in all communication. Over a period of time, there were 3 more team members that were in constant touch with us for various queries. Since we were also changing few requirements, there was a lot of back and forth to get clarity. We needed hand-holding in the digital side of this business and they worked like partners with us.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We are extremely glad that we were referred to them by a friend of mine named Yamini. They were extremely prompt in their response, quick discussions for any queries, great quality of product (my customers say that). I would gladly refer them to my friends and family.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

As I mentioned above, it was very effective and prompt over both on call as well as email.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their knowledge about the subject of eCommerce, Digital Marketing and the service quality they provide. The tightly-knit team and the effective communication with us was something that we found very professional and promising.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is always but I'd rather discount the small areas of improvement while I am looking at it as a whole.

We needed help with mobile app and e-commerce website development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Togglebytes Technologies Pvt. Ltd. underwent three rounds of gathering requirements, including 9–11 pages of documentation for the e-commerce site. They built and finalized wireframes and created the user flow. Following that, Togglebytes Technologies Pvt. Ltd. designed the entire website flow. They migrated our old site to the Laravel framework and designed the site template and homepage. They also did on-page SEO.

I worked with a project lead and three other Togglebytes Technologies Pvt. Ltd. team members. They had an in-house design team.

One of our friends recommended them to us.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from December 2018–May 2019. Now, we’re talking with Togglebytes Technologies Pvt. Ltd. about developing an ERP. We hope to use their services for other projects as well.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their delivery of the site and execution of bug fixes went smoothly. They made it easy for my team to do the marketing side of SEO by providing us with a backend tool; now, my team can work on building up links and backlinks to organic traffic.

How did Togglebytes Technologies Pvt. Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?

Togglebytes Technologies Pvt. Ltd.’s structured team made project management easy. We used Jira to provide feedback. When they had trouble comprehending any changes we wanted, we either met in-person or spoke over the phone. Their in-house design team understood all of our requirements. We communicated a lot; once we finalized the scope, we had around 700 meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Togglebytes Technologies Pvt. Ltd. managed the entire project. They helped my team visualize the website we wanted, even before they completed the designs. The way they migrated our old website to the new one exceeded our expectations.

The team took a clinical approach to development and thoroughly grasped our requirements. I’ve never worked with such a responsive and prompt IT agency. We were initially hesitant about their costs, but we’re happy with the project’s outcome.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Although the project was mostly flawless, they could improve their design services.
