I am the Co-founder and the CBO for QTflow. We're developing a novel micro air pump for medical and microelectronics applications.

It is actually about two videos through which we had to convey the technological complexity in a simpler way. The first video is more of a promotional video for one of our applications (CPAP - a medical device), and the other video is a more technical film.

The truth is that this is a very warm recommendation that we received from a similar company for which the vendor did a similar project.

We explained the project including a visit where the vendor was present to learn about the technology. We wrote a winning script together. Later, we held several refinement conversations on both the messages and the visual aspects. Everything was very simple and clear. The films were ready in the agreed time period. There were no delays. Then a round of comments and corrections will be made. There were not many corrections as the process itself was very precise. The corrections were done within a few days. Everything was perfect.

We worked with the owner who is also the designer and producer of the film. It is good because the important information was not lost among many professionals.

We just finished the project, so we will see the results later, but the most important thing is that the videos convey the message in a clear and simple way. Everything is clear after the video. It shortens processes and that is important.

Everything is very simple and friendly. There is a mutual understanding of what the final product should look like and the vendor offers many alternatives for one or another creative aspect. All that remains is to choose what suits you best. There is always continuous communication and a desire to reach as precise an understanding as possible of all the design elements that should be expressed in the video.

We were impressed with their attention to detail when it came to design. Everything is very polished and very precise.

The vendor is very professional. He quickly understands the technical requirements of the project and offers many approaches to a creative solution.

We started with a discovery meeting. They worked with us to understand our product before creating a script and storyboard. We also selected the illustrating content and designed the way to expain complex concepts in a visually comprehensive way. In the end, they delivered an animated video that explained the nevelty and the uniqueness of our product. They handled the voiceover as well.

We worked with a project manager who outlined the project and kept us on schedule. After each milestone, we would give him feedback. They shared their work through Vimeo, which allowed us to comment directly on certain designs or timestamps.

We showed off the new video to investors at tradeshows, and they were able to easily understand our product. All viewers liked the animation style and professional look-and-feel.

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided frequent updates. If they needed to change something, they told us ahead of time so that we could discuss it. We mostly spoke over video chat and email since their team was remote. The communication was perfect.

They took the time to learn about our product, even though they hadn't worked with a medical company before. They were able to suggest new ideas to improve our vision, which made the final video better.

They did a great job communicating our key features in the video.

At the beginning of each project, I indicate my desired schedule. We are aware that the time required to complete the preparation of the video is about three weeks, and if there are no special requests, the video will be ready by that time.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Time2Wow produced a video that explained our product — the 2–3 minute video they created used animation to show how our medical devices worked. We provided information about the product and then worked with Time2Wow to develop and edit the script. We finalized the script after a few iterations, and then Time2Wow created the video. Once the video was produced and approved, we uploaded it to our company's website and Vimeo.

We are a part of a startup incubator, so I approached other companies in it and requested recommendations for video production companies. I was given Time2Wow’s contact information and then contacted and hired them.

Our engagement with Time2Wow was from November–December 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Everyone who has seen the video has provided positive feedback. In general, the project was surprisingly quick and not expensive. I will reach out to Time2Wow if I need video production services again.

We communicated with Time2Wow through WhatsApp, and they responded very quickly to our messages.

Time2Wow understood our needs and delivered a high-quality, reasonably-priced video within a short timeline.

I don’t think Time2Wow has anything to improve.

The process starts with a meeting to discuss the video's guidelines and required milestones. Once these were set, they started by creating text for narration, then presented a static look and feel images of key scenes.
