Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m an architect for PRIME Occupational Medicine. We are in the medical healthcare industry. We set up internal websites and automation processes, and provide optimization software to clinics internationally.

What challenge were you trying to address with TiMaven LLC?

We needed some development work done to improve a web application that a previous vendor had designed.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They worked in collaboration with our engineers to improve the scalability and performance of the web app. This part was done in C# on the backend, and Angular on the frontend. They used Splitit for microservices to lower cost and increase performance, which they also use JavaScript. 

How did you come to work with TiMaven LLC?

Our CEO knows their founder. He asked me to check out their portfolio and sample code. We decided to work with them, because it all looked good.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $300,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in August 2019 and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The code they deliver is great, requiring few phases of testing. We’re happy with the job they’ve done. 

How did TiMaven LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

We have weekly planning meetings, and mini meetings throughout the week to break up milestones and make sure everything is on track. Regarding time estimation, they are pretty accurate, and almost always finish ahead of schedule. We use an Agile process — most of the features are done in one sprint. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very solid technically. They’re an efficient team and provide high-quality code. The collaboration has been very smooth.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you have a solid plan, they can finish it. If you don’t have a solid plan and need changes, let them know so they can work with you on that.
