Installation of Tableau Server within the new Azure infrastructure: This scope of work plans for guidance on a best practice "base install." This includes qualification of a single node or multi-node, workload qualification, OS assessment, data source driver assessment and installation, disaster recovery and backups, plus basic hardening.
Integration of the provided queries as data sources in Server: Three Ventures will set up the data sources using the reporting queries provided by Wagepoint.
Development and publishing of the ten BI reports in Tableau Desktop: Reports will be in the most exact state possible in relation to current reporting outputs, given any Tableau constraints. Should the reports be developed prior to the project deadline, we will consult on how to best incorporate more visual aspects into the top priority reports.
Planning for 2023 needs and path towards reporting adoption: Three Ventures will provide consulting and collaboration for 2023 in relation to driving adoption with Tableau, migration of other reports, internal resource requirements, augmentation with vendor resources, and budgeting.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The Tableau server was set up within the Azure infrastructure as a Kubernetes package and is running consistently without issue. The initial reports were created and matched existing data. Based on the data sources configured through the data warehouse, reports are updated on a scheduled basis, and new reports are being created from the data warehouse.

The project was a "rush" project with a 45-day schedule. It was noted that this is normally a 90-day schedule. There were meetings multiple times per week with their whole team and the appropriate resources on our side.

Delivery schedules were discussed, and technical requirements were outlined and reiterated to ensure the shortened schedule could be kept. All deliverables were on-time from Three Ventures, even when there were technical delays on our side. They provided post-project completion, and they provided follow-up to questions that didn't arise during the project.

The breathed of knowledge not just about the application (Tableau) but the overarching concepts (data warehousing, ETL, KB8, security) surrounding the implementation of the application.
