I’m the owner and president of Thomas H Wetzel & Associates, a digital marketing firm that works exclusively in the insurance industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with TheCityMix?

We needed someone to redesign our website and develop the websites of our clients.

What was the scope of their involvement?

TheCityMix is our primary partner for our web development needs. We work in tandem with their team to come up with the content and initial design, and leave it to them to design and host the platform.

We primarily use WordPress as our main development platform.

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact is the owner.

How did you come to work with TheCityMix?

The designer who we worked with for years was retiring so they recommended that we talk to TheCityMix. We called them almost immediately and haven’t looked back since.

We’ve invested somewhere between $10,000–$49,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in June 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We base our success on client satisfaction. Our clients really like what TheCityMix produces for them, as they take a great deal of caring and developing their platforms. They’re also very responsive when it comes to resolving technical issues and receiving feedback.

How did TheCityMix perform from a project management standpoint?

They're very meticulous from a project management standpoint and we’ve had no issues so far.

We typically communicate through Zoom, Teams, and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their creative abilities and discipline are top-notch. They’re not afraid to think outside the box and identify new possibilities.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they need to improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise you to be specific about what you want and what your vision is. The more information you share with them, the more effective the project is going to be.

We are an independent insurance agency. I am an insurance agent and also maintains our social media platforms

For what projects/services did your company hire TheCityMix?

Our website had crashed. We found out the company that was supposed to be maintaining and updating our website was MIA. We had to figure out if we could get our website back or create a new one. This is when TheCityMix came into the picture.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

he was referred to us by our webhost. We talked for a bit about what had happened and why. During our conversation I really liked how sincere Sahil was and how he took the matter to heart to get us up and running as soon as possible as he understood what this was doing to our business.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

after my conversation with Sahil he made a game plan to see if our original website could be restored. Sahil was able to restore some of the website but we also had to recreate most of it. It was a process to update our domain and get certificates that weren't updated.

In the end we had to redesign our website. Sahil was very helpful and showed me other insurance websites he did and we were able to piece things together for our site. In the end it flowed and looked so much better than our original site looked. I really loved his ideas and he made sure it captured what I wanted.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Sahil was very dependable. I was able to call or email him and he always responded. He was creative with the ideas I had. he was organized and updated me on a regular basis as to what was completed and what still needed to be done and what he needed from me.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Sahil was very easy to work with. We made an instant connection as he was very easy going and had so much knowledge. He was patient when I didn't understand something and explained every step in easy terminology. I felt like we had gotten so much accomplished in a short amount of time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed with TheCityMix's web design knowledge. I appreciated how he took the responsibility to get us through this fiasco that someone else did. The compassion that he showed with what I was going through was so welcoming. He worked diligently to get our website up and running to full capacity in the shortest time possible.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Everything was done the way I wanted it to look. The quality of work that was done in the shortest amount of time was amazing.

We were looking to update our website to a more modern look and add mobile friendly features.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were directed to TheCityMix from our previous web developer who was referenced from an industry organization.

After the initial meeting to discuss the intent and use of our website as well as our style and desired look, mockups were created and tweaked with deadlines to stay on task and get the website up and running efficiently and timely.

We worked with the single web developer directly to complete all tasks.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We launched our new website quickly with the desired look and updated features, including an ongoing page for an agency blog.

We communicated often with each step through email and phone calls to continue to stay on track with action items for each side to have the work completed as quickly as possible.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They worked with us to show the options available and let us select what felt most appropriate for our situation. We were also given the tools to modify and update as needed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We were pleased throughout every step of the project.
