I run the South African side of Tethra Talent along with my brother.

We aren't a massive, faceless agency. We’re a small team building a vetted list of professionals who actually deliver. Our business is built on a simple reality: UK-based SMEs need high-level talent to scale, and South Africa has a surplus of elite professionals who are ready to work at a London standard. We act as the bridge between the two.

What we do We source and vet candidates for three main pillars: Strategic Operations, Financial Services, and Digital Infrastructure. This includes everything from Finance Operations Managers and Bookkeepers to Executive Assistants and Brand Designers. We focus on roles where determination and attention to detail are the most important factors.

Our approach My background is in freelance design and brand strategy under my studio, DDS. I’ve spent years taking projects from a founder's concept to completion—this included the launch for a published book in London and the visual strategy for a restaurant launch in Sydney.

That experience taught me that the success of a project comes down to the individual’s grit and how much they actually care about the result. At Tethra, I use that perspective to find our candidates. I’m on the ground in South Africa, finding the people, checking their work, and making sure they are capable of working autonomously for international companies.

Why it works I don’t believe in micromanagement. I believe in finding professionals you can trust, then collaborating with them to refine the work. Every person in our database is vetted by me to ensure they have the same proactive mindset I applied to my own creative projects.
