Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder of Aurora For Good, a social enterprise offering smart wearable medical IDs, commercial tagging solutions, and community platforms to support charities, local businesses, and social causes. We also help raise awareness, increase donations, and make giving more rewarding.

What challenge were you trying to address with TechCologic?

We needed to adopt and advance our web platform.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

TechCologic has been providing continuous delivery for our web platform. Initially, we started with a fixed price and fixed scope. The team has worked on a UI overhaul to improve usability and the registration process. TechCologic has also provided bug fixes and added functionality.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with 2–5 teammates from TechCologic.

How did you come to work with TechCologic?

We found TechCologic through an online search. We chose them over other options because they understood our requirements and were keen to demonstrate their understanding.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with TechCologic in October 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

TechCologic has delivered controlled sprints using Trello with clear acceptance criteria. The team has consistently met our acceptance criteria.

How did TechCologic perform from a project management standpoint?

Some tasks take longer, and some are quicker. Overall, TechCologic has ensured that we correctly understand the tasks, and they’ve QA’d and tested their work. We communicate via virtual meetings, email, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

TechCologic is professional, has open communication, is focused on results, and is determined to deliver and build a quality relationship. That’s why we’re still working with them after approximately seven years.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nowadays, we have AI, which makes scope clarification easier.
