Loko Find is Tanzania Smart Business Directory that enables people to find reputable Tanzania Businesses on Smartphone. I work at Loko find as marketing executive.

For what projects/services did your company hire Tanzania Tech?

We hire Tanzania Tech to build Loko Find app from the scratch, we had some idea but Tanzania Tech made all happed.

What were your goals for this project?

We want to create a best experience to our app that's why we want to build something everybody can use even people with non tech skills.

SOLUTION

How did you select Tanzania Tech?

We designed our first app in 2017 but it was not successful at all, in 2018 we quit this job and decided to continue with another job but later I met Amani who I believe is one of the staff at Tanzania Tech, Amani told me that he will help us make our idea complete and due to the price being cheap we decided to start this work immediately.

Describe the project in detail.

Loko Find is a place that helps traders and buyers meet, loko find is not only a place for traders but also a place that will help you meet new traders and buyers near you. The Loko Find app has the ability to do many things such as advertise the tender, communicate via text message as well as many other things.

What was the team composition?

The truth is that I met Amani only once and I immediately felt confident in him, when I managed to meet his team then I was immediately relieved to see I was in the right place. The fact that Tanzania Tech Team has very few people, I think that is a the reasons they work so well.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The Loko Find program has been officially released this year and has already been selected to participate in various competitions here in Africa, to this day we are still in the competition and if we manage to win then I will come back here and talk about this.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I really like how Tanzania Tech works with a few people, the truth is that it is much easier to work with a few people than to work with a lot of people because having too many people can lead to a lot of mistakes.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I like Tanzania Tech as it is a Tanzanian company and is also one of the people who are more committed to making sure the customer gets what they want. They cared about time, they loved the work they do more than anything else, and it was easy to work with them.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I think the important thing is to make sure they at least add more services, currently provide fewer services that get customers to go elsewhere, but I believe if they add services and do everything a customer needs then it will be better than working with other people for the same job.

Having been a startup ourselves we know the headache of invoicing, tracking expenses and ensuring timely payments of clients in order to maintain a healthy cash flow all to well. Behind the idea of Ankara yako there's a simple goal — bring a fully-equipped modern online invoicing solution to the market for small businesses and freelancers to use for free.

What was the team composition?

The team was very good and we help collaborate in building this app

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We actually expect to launch our app on March but Tanzania Tech made easy for as and we are launching out app on this February

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Tanzania Tech was quick on creating what we want, this shows that these guys respond very well to our feedback, more than that the give us a chance to request new features every time even the one we did not discuss before.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The company has 10 to 40 people but they work like 200+ people, this was very good because we were assigned 5 people and the execute 50 people work load. More than that the app is amazing more that we imagine, personal i like very much to work with these guys again am sure they will improve more from here.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything was perfect from start of our project to the end, but i little request like problem is that i wish these guys were doing everything from hosting to development so that we can deal with one company. but now we have to deal with hosting company which i don't like so much.
