Please describe your company and your position there.
I am CTO of a fintech startup and have 25 years of experience in IT.
For what projects/services did your company hire TalentsToday, and what were your goals?
We wanted to build an MVP of our fintech application. Hiring a full-time team would have cost us too much time and at that point it was not clear what team compositon we need.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I selected this vendor based on recommendations.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had a 2-page vision for the application and a rough breakdown of the features. We needed to put the requirements on a timeline and figure out how much backend and frontend word this would be. We also needed to decide on the appropriate technology stack. We decided to use a very small team of one backend and one frontend developer. This tiny but very competent team allowed us to create an MVP with very little coordination effort.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
one backend developer / architect. One frontend developer. Now we also have a IT support operator.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We have launched the MVP to production in very little time. This was only possible because we did not need to hire full-time employees. We are happy with the qulity of the sofware. Now we extend its functionality and carry out load-testing and security testing.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Project management was done by me, not Talents Today. With Talents Today I communicate via Skype and email.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We found exactly what we needed in a short time.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm a CEO of a startup in online education.
For what projects/services did your company hire TalentsToday, and what were your goals?
In the early stage of my startup, I had developed a prototype that had very positive feedback from the users. I needed help with developing a full-scale application to serve my customer needs.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I had previous experience working with TalentsToday specialists as part of companies where I was the manager. My positive experience of cooperation and mutual trust were the main factors to contact TalentsToday when I decided to launch my own product.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
I hire various specialists for various steps of product development. A talented full-stack engineer helped out to shape and build iteratively and incrementally a reliable product of good quality. A designer helped to shape the future look of the product that distinguish a prototype from the product customers love.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I constantly hire different specialists that I need. Most of the time I work with one-two consultants.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The first full live release, we've built with TalentToday's consultant in less than two months. My previous prototyping and experimenting with hiring different freelance experts took over six months with no results.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Consultants were open to adapt my style. For me, the iterative and incremental approach is the best. We work in two-week iterations with a focus on functionality I need and regular deliverables. I use JIRA to keep product backlog and coordinate work with specialists I engage. We are in constant chat in messengers where I get a regular status update or notification about work done. For planning and clarification of new features, we make a Zoom call.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I was impressed by finding the best fit for my needs from the first candidate. The talent management team really knows what I need and always selects the best fit for the skills I need. I've never had more than one interview :-) The engineers balance good quality with the speed of development and attention to detail.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
So far we continue our cooperation, all good for me.
