 I’m the group financial controller of a supply chain, logistics, and transport company. We provide customized international delivery and distribution solutions, integrating advanced EDI and API technology to offer seamless, visible, and innovative logistics services for businesses worldwide.

What was the scope of their involvement?

 Synchronous Services provides us with an offshore team of nine members who handle our purchase ledger process from start to end, checking invoices, posting them in our accounting system, matching purchase orders, and liaising with key suppliers and stakeholders to ensure billing accuracy in line with agreements. They also provide feedback to our business to support revenue protection. Moreover, Synchronous Services’ team extends our customer service coverage, allowing our customer service operations to be available for longer hours and respond to customer queries more efficiently. Their customs team also assists our in-house customs clearance department, ensuring timely and accurate processing for international shipments.

This customer-first mindset, combined with their reliability and professionalism, makes them stand out from other outsourcing partners.

Are there any areas they could improve?

 Overall, we’ve had a very positive experience with Synchronous Services. If there’s one area for potential improvement, it would be to further expand their training programs to cover more advanced system integrations and reporting automation. That said, whenever we’ve raised any feedback, their team has responded quickly and implemented improvements straight away. Their willingness to listen and adapt is one of their key strengths.
