I'm the IT Project Manager for a small nonprofit working with many well-known brands, connecting B2B interests.

For what projects/services did your company hire Swiftin IT, and what were your goals?
We run multiple comparative reports for our members, including complex financial analyses across varying time spans and primary business types or non-primary divisions. Our previous process was based on well-known but End of Life software, required employees to be on-premises, and was extremely time-consuming.
We needed to update to modern and well-supported programming languages and cloud architecture. We also needed a full automation flow that cut down the manual labor involved in the process including intake, data processing, report generation and formatting, and sharing.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We found them through other platforms. Their qualifications are strong and were verified by their educational institutions and by requested referrals.

They designed and developed financial report automation on top of our existing Microsoft 365 architecture. They conducted initial discovery via thorough discussions with our stakeholders, walking through past reports and examples. Deliverables were established by functionality and each one was tested before approval.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
There were two people assigned to our project: the owner who is a Software Engineer, and a Sr. Software Engineering Consultant.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Users report significant time savings that they're then able to apply to data analysis instead of administrative work. Users also report significant quality of life improvement as the automation is much easier to use.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Project management was handled through MS Teams, as it was available and simple to use. We regularly posted text-based messages, chats, and had weekly calls. They were extremely responsive to messages, regardless of the method used.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They had reliable communication, which is extremely difficult to find. We worked with the owner and it's a small team, so we had direct lines of communication.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
There was a lot of troubleshooting and testing in the process. Sometimes revisions were not ready for additional testing when we received them, usually due to a proofing issue. If you need documentation, be sure to clarify what you need. They are primarily a technical group, so if your documentation is for non-technical users, you'll need to do some tech translation.
