Swifthouse

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner of Red Gorilla, a media company that sells books on Amazon through FBA.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Swifthouse to accomplish for your Amazon FBA book business?

We were looking for a fulfillment center that could handle our Amazon FBA needs and ship our orders directly to customers from our Shopify store. Swifthouse has a department specializing in both of those distinct needs.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Swifthouse receives our inventory and splits it to send some directly to Amazon to be sold through their FBA network. The team keeps the rest of the inventory to fulfill our Shopify orders. The products are books. Swifthouse has connected to our Amazon and Shopify accounts to manage the entire process from receiving to shipping to inventory management and storage.

What is the team composition?

We work with 2–5 teammates from Swifthouse.

How did you come to work with Swifthouse?

We found them through an online search. We chose them over other options because they had high ratings, a great culture fit, good value for cost, and company values aligned with ours.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $50,000–$200,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in August 2024, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Swifthouse ships all orders within 24 hours and receives orders within 48 hours. They have 100% accuracy. We’ve scaled our business, and as we’ve grown, they’ve handled the increased volume without changes needed and with the same excellent service. Our average delivery time is three business days throughout the 48 US states. We haven’t had a single error for FBA Amazon and have had one mis-ship in two years for DTC. They covered the cost to fix it.

How did Swifthouse perform from a project management standpoint?

Swifthouse’s project management is excellent. They deliver on time. We communicate via email and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

The personal attention from Swifthouse stands out the most. We can reach someone who knows our products and handles our orders, so we don’t have to explain our business every time we have a question. Even as a smaller brand, we feel like a priority. Having both our website orders and Amazon prep handled under one roof has also made things much simpler.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any.
