Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We needed to rewrite our legacy mobile app, which had become unmaintainable due to an obsolete technology stack. We chose Google’s Flutter ecosystem for our new platform. Our challenge was the lack of clear requirements, as we had to model the existing functionality of the old app. Another challenge was that Flutter was a completely new platform for both us and Sunray. After an initial learning curve, we successfully produced an app that was not only a full rewrite but also included improvements in UX and performance.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since we had existing live mobile app we could compare the progress easily. We set short iterations and small deliverables we could test quickly. Sunray was very responsive to any changes we came up with.

We were mainly dealing directly with developers understanding that our situation might be a bit different from typical projects. They assigned a project manager and a QA person near the end of the project to keep things focused.
