We design, implement, manufacture and sell a wide range of professional, high-performance LED lighting solutions for architectural, industrial, commercial and urban environments. Our products cover a wide range of lighting applications and configurations to solve a wide variety of lighting challenges, from small office spaces to shopping malls, concert halls, large stadiums, education centers and medical spaces. We have been part of the Glamox Group since December 2019. I am the IT Manager.

Our cooperation with Sun Group began in 2016 with the reconstruction of our B2B system. The challenge was to integrate with the internal accounting and warehouse system, which is a dedicated tool developed within the Organization. The aim of the system was to increase sales and encourage our business partners to order in the B2B channel.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Sun Group was one of the few companies that was not afraid to take up the challenge of integrating with our system. Before the implementation, they made a pre-implementation analysis, the result of which was a detailed offer. It was attractive to us in terms of the proposed solutions and technologies. An additional advantage was the experience documented by the company in the implementation of similar systems.

The first stage was the pre-implementation analysis, examining the integration possibilities and collecting information on the required functionalities and the scope of data. In the next stage, Sun Group prepared a scheme of the system's operation along with a work schedule. Then the project went to the UX / UI department, where detailed mock-ups of individual subpages were designed. It was a stage in which many people from individual departments were involved, working with B2B clients on a daily basis. After all the mockups were developed, coding of the responsive views in HTML began. During the creation and then coding of the mock-ups, the process of preparing the servers and database architecture for system operation was created. After establishing the connection between the Sun Group test servers and our internal ones, the programming stage has started. It was the most difficult and labor-intensive process. After completing the programming, we started testing the system. After eliminating operating errors and optimizing the operation of processes, the system was officially launched.

The B2B platform works in Polish and English. Contractors will find there over 5,000 types of products, which, depending on the attributes, give as many as 800,000 variants. The solution is efficient and supports the large-scale of our business without any problems. The B2B system significantly improved communication and the way of cooperation with contractors in all markets in which we operate.

High flexibility and availability of people, especially the possibility of direct contact with programmers. This helped a lot in the information exchange between us and Sun Group.

The system is constantly developed and optimized. While working with clients, we had a lot of development notifications, which we analyze and if we decide that they are right, we implement new functionalities.

Krajowe Centrum Złota Sp. z o. o. is a Polish company that was established in May 2012. We offer individuals and businesses an innovative online transaction platform for the purchase and sale of physical precious metals (gold and silver). Our users can do it on a recurring or one-time basis. We offer investment precious metals only with the LBMA Certificate of renowned mints such as PAMP, Argor Heraeus, Valcambi, Umicore.

Our services are not covered by the BGF and are not subject to the supervision of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. The prices of precious metals fluctuate in line with the prices of the precious metals exchange, which entails the risk of temporarily losing some of your capital. Our company is there to help but not recommend it. The client independently buys and sells precious metals on his own account. In Krajowe Centrum Złota I am the President of the Management Board.

The reconstruction of the entire existing system for selling precious metals was a huge challenge. For our company, from a business point of view, it is a key customer service tool. The difficulty in the project was even greater as it was very important to maintain the continuity of the system while maintaining the transaction archive.

We got to know Sun Group thanks to our acquaintance with the company that has served us so far in terms of creation. From the very beginning, I had good contact with the owners of the company, who helped me deal with the problem of rewriting the system based only on my experience and data from the previous system.

We started the work with analyzing the possibility of importing archival data and rebuilding the relationship between individual records in the database. On this basis, we were only able to determine whether we would be able to restore the archive of operations and all transactions performed so far by users.

Then, new algorithms were implemented to perform daily user transactions and the introduction of modifications and improvements to the existing solutions. The application interface and the company's image website have also changed. After about 6 months of work, the users were able to use the new system, and thanks to the new functionality, the management of the system gives many more possibilities both in customer service and for the customers themselves.

The project turned out very well and is still being developed with new functionalities. My clients are satisfied with the new website interface, which they can also fully use on their smartphones. In addition, the Sun Group offered me to host my system in the Private Cloud service, thanks to which I gained the security of the application.

1. Design a user-friendly interface for both a single user and the administrator (aesthetic, eye-catching frontend, and functional backend)
2. Integrate the platform with Google CSS (automatically receiving the data from an uploaded product feed and updating it periodically)
3. Create a content management system based on the most popular horizontal portals
4. Optimize the platforms in order to provide fast, efficient operations.

With the e-commerce tools and solutions offered by Sun Group, we were confident that we could give ourselves and our clients a fully functional online tool. The decisive factor was that Sun Group has its own programmers and develops its e-commerce engine, so they could come to the project flexibly and prepare a solution customized to our needs.

Our project was to create an online store and thus increase sales and recognition of our brand. We built the store primarily based on the configurator. Every customer can design a mirror by himself according to his needs. The configurator mechanism allows to design hundreds of thousands of product variants.

The key stages were designing and implementing the main page that attracts attention, subpages with assortment, intuitive search engine and properly built product cards. The customer in our online store has access to the most popular online payment providers, so we provide choice.

Additionally the store system is integrated with our ERP system. Thanks to this information about the order immediately reaches us and goes to the realization. We have also integrated the store with a large number of price comparison engines.

The holistic approach to building an online store brought the intended result. First of all, we created a very important new sales channel - online. Thanks to this we increased our reach and sales growth. In particular, we have created the possibility of increasing sales abroad. At the moment, customers can use the store in 25 different languages.

Store users can quickly and conveniently design a LED mirror and see its visualization - even before payment. The payment process is quick and easy. Thanks to the order tracking function, Artforma customers know at what stage their purchase is. The full integrity of the store's system with our ERP system ensures efficient service.

We operated according to plan and schedule. Above all, flexible and smooth. We did not encounter any communication problems. In particular, it was important for us to be able to implement a project dedicated to our needs. Something that no ready-made solutions could give us and was insufficient. We appreciate their flexible approach and competence.
