I’m the managing director of a digital marketing agency.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Summon Digital?

We needed access to software that we didn’t have. We had to run a portion of our advertising spend through their software to get the best results for our clients. He has something bigger, with access to tools that our agency couldn’t afford.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

It was a nice, relatively large-scale programmatic campaign. It had a lot of display activity, both standard and video displays. We had an outline and a brief to go with that detailed our own strategy. But, of course, we’re allowing him to use his expertise in the area.

He did the odd bit of consulting here and there, seeing how we’re getting on with everything. Mainly, it was the ongoing bit work we had for a while.

What is the team composition?

I worked with two people day-to-day.

How did you come to work with Summon Digital?

I’d worked with Paul (Founder & Managing Director, Summon Digital) briefly at another company. I knew he’d set up his own company so I reached out to him.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $15,000–$20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October 2019 until January 2020. We’re planning on working with him again once the Coronavirus dies down.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Everything ran perfectly. It was very smooth. They hit the metrics we were tracking.

How did Summon Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

They were quite good. I didn’t have to do a whole pile of it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I haven’t worked with a company like this before, but I found them very easy to work with. It was a good experience and I got good value for the money.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t think so. Everything ran fairly smoothly.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I highly recommend them and their value. They’re open and transparent too, in addition to being good people.
