Be Still Hotel is Türkiye's first smart hotel, located in the heart of Cappadocia. We combine boutique hospitality with cutting-edge technology to deliver a guest experience that is both immersive and highly personalized. Every room is equipped with voice-activated smart assistants (Alexa), allowing guests to control lighting, climate, and in-room services through natural voice commands tailored to their individual preferences. Beyond the guest-facing experience, we operate on a fully digitized infrastructure that brings together design-forward hospitality, cultural authenticity, and operational intelligence — positioning Be Still as a benchmark for what a technology-driven hotel experience can look like in Türkiye.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Summit Tech to accomplish?
Personalize the guest experience at scale. Our Alexa-enabled smart rooms needed to be configurable to individual guest preferences — lighting, climate, in-room services — without adding manual overhead for our staff. This was central to delivering on our promise as a technology-driven hospitality concept.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What sets Summit Tech apart is that they don't operate as a typical IoT vendor selling isolated smart devices — they think in terms of systems. SummitOS was built as a unified operating layer rather than a patchwork of disconnected integrations, which is rare in the hospitality tech space where most solutions solve one problem (lighting, or energy, or access control) in isolation.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Summit Tech could have done differently?
Overall we've been very satisfied with the engagement, but as with any project involving new technology, there was a learning curve on both sides. In the early stages, our staff needed some additional onboarding time to get comfortable navigating the full range of dashboard features, particularly around the more advanced permission and configuration settings. Summit Tech was responsive in providing guidance as needed, but a more structured onboarding or training resource from the outset — such as a written quick-start guide or short training session for staff — could have shortened that ramp-up period. This is a minor point relative to the overall quality of the platform and partnership, but worth noting for future clients.
