    Our Story

    StudioMeyer is me — Matthias Meyer, developer based in Mallorca for 15 years. No big team, no agency hierarchy. When you work with me, you work directly with the person writing the code. I build websites and AI systems with my own stack: 58 MCP servers, 680+ tools, all built from scratch. Office in Palma, my workspace is a finca in the Tramuntana mountains — with seven dogs, all former strays. Web design meets AI, no middlemen.

    We measure success by what actually changes for the client after launch, not by how the project felt during delivery. The first metric is visibility. Every site we build gets indexed by Google within days, but that is the baseline. What matters more in 2026 is whether AI platforms cite the site. We track this through Bing Webmaster Tools (AI citations), Google Search Console (impressions, clicks, indexed pages) and our own GEO monitoring tool that checks visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok and others. Every site ships with Lighthouse scores above 90 for SEO and accessibility. We monitor Core Web Vitals, load times and mobile responsiveness continuously, not just at launch. A site that scores well on day one but degrades over three months is a failure. The third metric is conversion. Does the contact form get used? Does the phone ring? Does the WhatsApp button get tapped? We set up privacy-friendly analytics (Umami, no cookies) on every project so clients can see real visitor numbers, referral sources and engagement patterns without violating GDPR. The fourth metric is independence. A successful project is one where the client understands what they have and does not depend on us for every small change. We build on open standards (Next.js, Docker, Git), provide clear documentation, and host on infrastructure the client could migrate away from if they wanted to. No lock-in. We do not measure success by hours billed, features shipped or meetings held. We measure it by whether the site does what it was built to do: bring the right people to the client and make it easy for them to get in touch.

    Every site we have launched is still live and actively used by the client. No project has been abandoned, rebuilt by someone else, or taken offline. That is our baseline. For measurable results: our own site reached 304 AI citations in 30 days, 3,158 Google impressions with zero ad spend, and a Lighthouse SEO score of 100. We apply the same infrastructure to client projects. Every site ships with trilingual SEO, structured data, AI discovery files and privacy-friendly analytics from day one. ROI depends on the client's business model. A real estate agent showing five properties needs one buyer from the website to cover years of hosting costs. A boat school filling course seats through organic search saves thousands in ad spend per season. A SaaS product converting visitors to subscribers sees ROI within the first month of recurring revenue. We do not promise specific revenue numbers because we build websites, not sales teams. What we guarantee is that the technical foundation is solid, the site is visible where it matters, and nothing stands between the client and their next customer.

    Direct, fast, no overhead. Every client has a direct line via WhatsApp and email. No ticket systems, no project managers in between, no weekly status calls unless the client wants them. When you write, you get an answer from the person building your site, not from someone who needs to ask someone else first. During active development we share progress as it happens. Screenshots, live preview links, short voice messages explaining what changed and why. No 20-page PDF reports that nobody reads. If something is ready to review, you see it in your browser within minutes, not in a slide deck next Thursday. After launch we set up Umami analytics dashboards that clients can check anytime. Real visitor numbers, top pages, referral sources, device breakdown. No cookies, fully GDPR compliant. If AI citation tracking is relevant, we include monthly updates on how often the site appears in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and other LLM platforms. For ongoing projects we communicate async by default. Mallorca timezone, available throughout the day, responses typically within the hour. We keep things brief and concrete. If a decision is needed, we present options with a clear recommendation instead of open-ended questions that create more work for the client.

    Every project starts with a conversation, not a briefing document. We want to understand what the business actually needs, not what the client thinks a website should look like. Most clients come with a rough idea and some reference sites. That is enough to get started. From there we move fast. First draft is usually live on a preview URL within days, not weeks. Clients review in the browser on their own phone and laptop, not in design mockups that look different from the real thing anyway. Feedback happens via WhatsApp or a quick call, we adjust the same day. We work in short cycles. Build something, show it, get feedback, refine. No phase gates, no sign-off meetings, no waiting three weeks for a design approval before writing a single line of code. If something does not work, we change it immediately. If the client changes their mind about a direction, that is fine. The codebase is flexible enough to handle it. Technical decisions stay with us. Clients should not have to choose between server frameworks or database architectures. We pick what works best for their use case and explain why in plain language if they are curious. No jargon in client communication, ever. Launch is not the end. We handle hosting, SSL, monitoring and updates. If the client needs a text change or a new section three months later, they write us and it gets done. No retainer contracts required for small adjustments.

    Most websites go live within one to two weeks from first conversation to launch. Simple single-page sites can ship in days. Complex multilingual projects with custom features take two to three weeks. We work async from Mallorca, which means progress happens throughout the day. Clients typically see a first preview within 48 hours. No multi-month timelines, no waiting for design committee approvals.
